Super Sons (2017-2018) Vol. 2: Planet of the Capes

Super Sons Vol. 2: Planet of the Capes (Rebirth)  collects issues #6-10 of the Rebirthed Super Sons title.This is the Really Fun Superman/Batman Family title – as opposed to the Just Fun ones (there are several, depending on your interpretation of fun – Red Hood, Nightwing and New Super-Man are all fun to me).Anyway, this volume (and four-part title story) sees Superboy teaming up with the Teen Titans despite Damian’s best efforts (“You are only ten!”) and getting thrown into a parallel dimension with Damian where they have to inspire the locals to stand up to a Galactus/Ego hybrid who has his eye on Earth, while the final story sees the return of the 1940s Batmobile (disguised as a Bat-sub) and the Damian of the Future Batman, though only in passing; the actual story is a continuation of the themes of this series and the character- and team-building that have been running through it.This is a really entertaining, fun title.

Having read volume 1 I took a chance and read volume 2, as before the mix of old and new is present and it was a good mix. As I said before anyone who enjoys reading comics should find something to like if you obey the golden rule "a willing suspension of disbelief"....... This is supposed to be fun so relax and enjoy .
