I suffer from severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands but been left handed this is the one with most pain so when this wrist support brace came up for review I thought I would give it a shot as I’ve tried other supports with out much luck, but this on the other hand forgive the pun is a different matter as soon as I put it on it felt good, normally as the working days goes by the pain gets worse but wearing this support seemed to help enormously it didn’t stop the pain but it seemed to stop it getting any worse and I could go about my job fairly ok.When I get home from work I take the support off until bedtime then replace and it works the same throughout the night.It seems very well made and the metal splint that runs up the middle and over the carpal bridge give great support an protection and is the perfect shape the three Velcro fasten straps hold the brace stead fast so it doesn’t move at all.This as been a god send for me until I get my appointment for my operation which could be awhile yet.I have rather large hands and this large to extra large fits perfectly.The price at this time is I think amazing value for the relief it gives me and I will be buying one for my right hand.5 stars all round from me and I highly recommend to all carpal tunnel syndrome sufferers out there.

This is comfortable to wear and gives a good feeling of support to the wrist. It obviously impedes movement, but helps prevent the pain. I do find that even with doing nothing, your palm does get a bit sweaty which isn't very pleasant, but better to have sweaty palms, than a painful wrist.

My wrist has been causing me some discomfort since an intense redecorating session over the summer when I really should have got some extra help at times. I wanted a support brace that I could wear at night since I tend to lie on my hands and cause extra strain. This one is really quite comfortable and I have had no trouble sleeping with it on at night. It really has provided good relief over the last few days and I am able to carry out most of my usual activities - typing on a keyboard, using a mouse, cooking in the kitchen etc. I just need to remove the brace to wash my hand. My palms tend to sweat easily so I have placed a folded up tissue inside the brace to absorb sweat from my palm.If you have a 19cm wrist like me, which lies on the boundary of the two sizes available (S and L) I would suggest getting the large size. In the photos you can see that it fits my wrist fine, and actually prevents me from overtightening as I have done in the past. (But if you really want to overtighten the brace then get the small size).I hope to be able to do without this brace in a week or so, but for now when I remove it I can really notice what a good job it is doing to support my wrist and relieve the dull pain.

Nice and comfortable wrist brace. Its supports the wrist nicely and can be fitted on the appropriate wrist.The brace has a metal strap inside for extra support. On top of this is a nice padded area for extra comfort.4 stars from me. Works as intended but is only for one wrist side.

This support brace is nicely made and has a really pleasant soft finish that means that it should be comfortable to wear for longer periods.The brace has a metal splint running up under the wrist and into the palm of the hand, all protected by the brace itself. It's then fastened via three straps. A larger one in the middle and two shorter ones at the top and bottom fastening from the other side.The elastic of these straps means that you should be able to find a comfortable position to fit the brace to your wrist.I went with my usual glove size when sizing, so for me the L/XL was a good fit for someone who wears a L glove. But the elastic adjustments mean that you should have a bit of latitude when sizing.

Having had Carpel Tunnel surgery a few years ago, it has made a reappearance recently, so I've started rewearing a brace at night.Of the three designs I've used, this is the 'best':- It immobilises and supports the wrist most effectively. All designs work well enough, but this design encloses the whole area so that nothing moves.- It is very comfortable. Both other wrist supports have a curved aluminium plate that angles up into the palm and causes secondary inflammation. This has the same, but it's padded in what looks like aramid fibre, making it quite comfortable.What none of them do particularly well is manage sweat.
