This item was very easy to use. Just plug it into the port and follow the on screen prompts. And viola ! Your new key is set to go. It also is great for finding codes when your check engine light is on. Way easier and more affordable than going to the dealer or locksmith. I would purchase this item again.

I wrote a whole 4 star review and didn't submit it. Because lets be honest. if it works and saves me the high dealer / locksmith fees then I can accept a couple minor issues.I used this to program cheap Chinese key blanks. I did not use the included blanks as I had already ordered and cut the cheap blanks expecting to be able to program them using the vehicle's programming system (which didn't work correctly).I programmed keys for both a 2008 Grand Caravan and a 2008 Chrysler Sebring. The Sebring went exactly as expected. However, the Grand Caravan produced a "communication error". I tried again using 2009, then 2010 and again using 2011 (getting more nervous with each attempt) 2011 finally worked correctly and did program the keys.Between this minor hiccup and the fact that the display is almost completely unreadable in daylight (it has no backlight) I almost dropped a star. But I saved some money and programmed my keys (and can use this to program other compatible keys in the future) so we'll call it a fair deal at 5 stars.

Easy to use to unlock and to turn the vehicle on, but doesn't do the remote start.

Excellent. Instructions leave a little to be desired, but most can figure it out.For me, when the instructions said to turn the ignition to the on position, they really meant the start position. I literally had to pretend I was trying to start the vehicle with the new key and then hold it in the start position while the programer communicated with the new key. Then, once successful, I was able to release the key and allow it to return to the true on position.I programmed both keys in 5 minutes.Barring any programming issues down the line, this product saved me $600 compared to the dealership.

The instruction is good enought to follow, and it only took me less than 5 minutes to set up both key came with the package. All buttons on the both keys work well. Happy with it.

I have a 2020 dodge caravan and it took me 4 minutes to program a new key. So easy! The only issue I have is that the screen is very dim. And the hidden metal key needs to be cut which I’ll have done at my local hardware store.
