I found this travel mug to be very effective in keeping hot drinks at a good temperature for several hours. It is very easy to grip and provides good protection from spills.The one big issue I observed was with the lining near the sip opening which I found it to be a bit rough. Apart from that it is a good and very trendy travel mug. Easily fits the car cup holder.

I really like this Bodum Travel Mug. The 12" size is much better for me than the monster cups my daughter carries.Great features: The rubber hand grasp makes it easy to hold. The snap drink opening helps prevent spills. This keeps coffee warm for hours. This mug is incredibly easy to clean and non staining. No handle means it fits in my cup holders.But no handle might make this a little harder for some to carry. The snap-on cover is really hard to open for about the first 10 times.The tangerine color lifts my spirits during the gloomy months of winter.I've owned Bodum brand coffee accessories for years and found them to be practical and sturdy. I have a Bodum coffee press (glass) that I have used every weekend since 1981. You might want a new style long before a Bodum item will fail, this mug included.

As a lifelong coffee geek, I’ve purchased several Bodum products and was eager to review this cup. Overall, the cup is functional, and I appreciate the appearance and finish of the stainless steel. However, it doesn’t quite meet the standards I expect from Bodum. The main drawback is the lid, which feels a bit cheap. It’s slightly difficult to install and remove, with a flimsy silicone gasket that resists threading. The closure for the drinking spout is similarly tricky to operate, often requiring more than one hand.While this cup carries Bodum’s signature style, it falls short in the areas of usability and functionality that I’ve come to expect from the brand.

I love the French presses that this company produces and I use one often. I highly recommend this mug if you want something to go along with your French press from Bodum or if you just need a decent mug in general. at it has quite good heat retention and I've had no issues with leakage or spillage from the included lid. The orange grip is a unique touch and I think it looks really good.

Pros: love the size, perfect for travel, fits in all three of my vehicles cup holders, a pretty ‘mandarin orange’ color. Filled it with scalding hot coffee at 8:30 am. At 10:00 am, it was still piping hot, but not scalding. At noon, it was hot, but not piping. The extra wide/long lip at the opening for drinking is nice! Like having a pour spout, it made it super easy to drink out of.Cons: there was a square Bodum sticker on the silver part of the mug. It was easy to peel off, but left a square discoloration, even after washing in hot soapy water. So, four stars, instead of the five I would have given.

I'm obsessed with this cup. It almost works too well. My coffee was still scalding hot for 40 minutes despite the lid being open. It stayed warm for 5.5 hours, including an hour in the car during 36 degree weather! The color is vibrant, the design is sleek, it fits in my cup holder, and its got the ideal mouth feel. Instantly my favorite travel mug. I can't believe how light it is, yet how well insulated. No weird taste and dishwasher safe- Wow! Fantastic buy!

The Bodum 12 oz Travel Mug looks nice, but the quality doesn’t quite match the price. The lid is just okay—it doesn’t seal tightly, and it doesn’t do a great job of keeping drinks hot or cold for long hours. Overall, not as impressive as I had hoped.....
