## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I use as a receiver using my passive Bose 161 speakers as external speakers?**
A: Yes it can with passive speakers it is a good amplifier for the price.
I use it to power two passive Dolby height speakers on my 9.2 Dolby Atmos Denon AV Reciever.

**Q: Does this need a pre-amp, or can it be connected to a DAC?**
A: I've got this connected to a Project Pre Box S2 DAC which is connected to my PCs. This works well for me.

**Q: which model would be best for AE 100 series, max 75w, min impedance 6 ohms plugged into an applemac mini**
A: TPA3116 - only 19V power supply, so less than 50w into 6 ohm. - and no tone control.

TB10A probably better, esp if you need tone control. The 24v power supply gives more ability to turn up the bass.

Allan Hendry. MonoPulse.

**Q: Anyone have problems with background noise from the v1.0g. i play a lot of classical as well as rock. i was hoping for complete silence when its on.**
A: No problem with mine regarding noise. I would check your cables, try a different source-maybe your unit has a fault?
