Brocraft Telescopic Transducer Pole with Deck Mount – Adjustable Live Sonar Holder for Fish Finder, Universal Marine Electronics Support, Livescope Compatible

I built my own transducer pole with PVC and ball mounts like everyone sees on internet videos and it doesn't compare to how nice this is. This folds up so compact, nice and sturdy when moving to a new spot or down the road. And while you're fishing and panning around looking for fish it's way easier to use than a PVC pipe homemade setup and easier to lock in place when you've found them. Handle is comfortable also. I'm 10x happier with the Brocraft pole than the one I made, I'm shocked how good of quality this transducer pole is. Get this don't think twice.

In comparison to BD and millennium transducer pole, those seem more substantial in construction, but must be mounted on the deck, taking up a lot of space. Both designs had the 90° solid bracket sitting outside the side of the boat permanently. It could be damaged by docking - trees etc. I purchased the 90° rail mount and after some adjustments the pole sits directly over the side, off the deck with less risk of damage. My Livescope LVS 32 transducer mounted on the bracket permanently attached to the system. The pole is too thin to mount the LS transducer bracket, but it seems to be secure and rotated properly for forward view. It was 1/2 the cost of BD transducer pole, my concern is the possibility of damage if it hits something under the surface. Otherwise, I believe for the cost, ease of installation and horizontal storage it is a good option. Can be removed quickly for trailering as well.

Started off with a homemade pole made of pvc pipe. Wasn’t that good. Figured heck, I spend almost 3 grand on a LiveScope system. Why cheap out on the pole. Good decision. It exceeded my expectations. Image is a lot more clear and it’s easy to deploy and store. Worth the money.

kinda flimsy but does work

The little mounting plate on the bottom is set with two screws into the aluminum, I had to tighten them after each use because the plate gets all jiggly and then also your transducer... Third use one of the screws was gone. I bought two stainless machine screws and drilled the right through the tube and put nylon lock nuts on. It wobbles so much in the plastic brocraft mount that I removed the aluminum piece that inserts into it and mounted the remaining piece directly to the deck and trashed the plastic mount. If your going to use the telescoping part and need to collapse it after each use it can be a pain in the ass, it binds and does not slide well. I'm currently trying to locate a 30mm od tube or rod to replace the whole aluminum rod and the telescoping piece. The bracket I mention earlier on the end has to be opened up (drilled out) on the mounting slots to mount a standard lvs34 livescope plastic mount. $249 for something that appears quite well thought out and built nice but is truly not ready for what is designed for. I strongly advise looking at other available models and styles to avoid rebuilding this inorder to make it even remotely useful.

I bought this item back in December and installed it in May on my boat to hold the transponder for my live scope. I used it twice and had issues with the pole air locking up. I contacted their customer service and they sent me a new one. They were awesome to work with even with it being outside of the warranty window. This is very sturdy and easy to use.

Brocraft is the best choice for alumacraft boats. Mega live mounts but had to purchase additional screws. This product does what it should and mounts to any brocraft rod holder that i have. Want mega live on the back of the boat just move to a different rod holder. Great product.

This works but it has a lot of slop in the gear system, feels unstable. I would not buy this again.

Très solide et très bon produit

The telescopic transducer pole is great. Good mounting. Pretty sturdy. Works good in windy conditions and when boat is rocking etc. Great for livescopes. One big issue I have with it is the adjustment for the angle of the transducer is made of hard plastic, and it has sheared to some extent just due to it being subjected to normal wear and tare. They need to include multiple of these. It basically acts sort of like a shear pin for the angle incase you hit something. But it also wears out with normal use and renders the adjustment spot (therefore the whole thing) unusable. 3/5 stars for this issue but the entire thing itself, when its not sheared definitely a solid 4/5. Other than that issue, it's very well built. But it's paramount that they address this.

This is very flimsy!!! I wish I would have returned it but I didn't open it right away and the packaging was trashed when I did open it. Had to build supports for while in transit and while in use it's very unstable!! :( :(

Juste wow,,,,bonne qualité au delà de mes attentes. S’enlève en 2 secondes et se manipule A-1 Je conseille fortement.
