A Petzl classic at a bargain price (for some colours)
Great, no nonsense light for close to medium distance use.Lightweight, comfortable, great ergonomics, simple interface, always starts in low setting, direct access to red led from off, perfect flood output (no sharp edges to the beam).Runs off 3xAAA batteries or the petzl core battery. The core battery is a bit pricey as a standalone purchase, but handy, although since there is no lumen advantage in this model I'd stick to rechargeable AAAs for general use.I think this version is better ergonomically than the new design, and at time of writing is £17.20 from amazon eu for some colours, so grab 'em while you can. :-)

Works well, batteries last ages
This is quite good, light, doesn’t bounce when I’m running, although I use rechargeable batteries, they last a while. Duracell last even longer. Gives off decent amount of light for my needs. You can buy the rechargeable 3 battery pack, but it’s expensive, so I just bought individual rechargeable batteries.

Superb head torch
This head torch ticks all the boxes. It is cheaper than other poorer quality torches. It looks good and is small and compact. It is also really comfortable to wear and easy to use.As for the performance, I was amazed at how much light 3AAA batteries (which are included) could produce. On the highest setting it is superb. There are another 2 lower light settings that you would probably use more often to extend battery life. By the way, the battery lasts for ages on the lower settings. You can change it to red light and there is a flashing red light as well.A useful feature is the luminous ring around the light that helps you find it if you put it down in the dark (see photo).I have tried other head torches before and for the money, this is by far the best one on the market. Petzl is a quality brand so you can buy with confidence. In summary, fantastic.

Lightweight, bright, comfortable and durable
Petzl Tikka has been my "go-to" headtorch for many years. I always keep one in my hiking rucsack and another in the car door storage compartment. I have a couple of chunkier heavy duty headtorches that I use occasionally but the Tikkas get most use. The batteries don't drain when not in use (unlike some cheap foreign torches) and all electrical contacts work for years - I only buy replacements when I lose or step on one! This new model is much brighter than previous versions. It comes with Duracell batteries, which is nice, but I'll switch to rechargeables when they run out. It's lightweight and comfortable (as ever) and easy to use. The red light seems much brighter than previous models and the only downside is it doesn't have a flood/spot selector. I used to use this a lot and will miss it. Having said that, the extra brightness will give some compensation for lack of spotlight mode.

Great basic headlamp
Great basic headlamp for general use about the home, DIY, campsite and walking the dog. Good spread of even light, three power settings and a red lamp. Fell runners and extreme sports enthusiasts might need a more concentrated and brighter light, but for us mere mortals the Petzl Tikka is more than adequate. It works well on basic rechargeable batteries.

6 months on and its dead! Brilliant when it works...now won't switch on.
When it worked it was the best . Now 6 months on , won't switch on. Tried new batteries and nothing. Another brand going down the cheap and disposable route. Shame on you Petzl.

Excellent choice
We live off the grid in the middle of the woods, we use this headlamp daily especially in the winter and when our Livestock dogs are alerting us to a predator. They have a serious beam that helps to light the way to the barn and can see quite a distance. Very happy with our first sets, we bought more for back up but it’s been a couple years since our first purchase, we haven’t had to use the back-ups yet. Great purchase.

PETZL for the Win!!
I've owned quite a few headlamps over the years and this one is at the top. It has a really cool green halo that glows even after the lamp has been shut off. Super cool feature. And for only being 300 lumens, the brightness is pretty impressive.

High Quality Great Light
This is my second Petzl Tikka headlamp purchase. I bought the original model about twenty years ago and used it extensively on multiple wilderness trips and almost daily for walking the dog in an unlighted neighborhood. The original lamp is still going strong, although its headband has lost its elasticity. Since I couldn't replace the headband easily, I opted for a new Tikka. The new one has plenty of light on the medium and high settings, and there is ample illumination on red to allow for safe walking in the dark without losing night vision. The newer version lacks the option of a narrow beam, and a beam diffuser; however, I don't miss the narrow beam as the current version has enough lumens to make the narrower beam unnecessary. The low setting is just right for reading. I bought the optional rechargeable battery pack and am very happy with it. I've used it for 3 weeks without a recharge when using it nightly on the medium setting for about 15 minutes. The one thing I would change is to make the headband replaceable and detachable for cleaning. Altogether, this is an excellent and durable product.

Ilumina de forma satisfatória.
O produto tem um bom custo-benefício. Recomendo a compra para diferentes contextos, desde uso em acampamento até o uso em casa, em condições de falta de luz.
