As funny as the other Love... books
I've had this on my Kindle for a couple of months but decided to wait until I went on holiday so I could spend some quality time reading it. Once I start a Love... book I find it extremely hard to put down. In fact, I read most of it on the flight to my holiday destination. I love Jamie and Laura, they feel like old friends now and their daughter Poppy is now the sort of age where she has her own personality so that brings even more fun.In Love Among The Stars, which takes place four years after Love Under Different Skies, Jamie and Laura are successful authors and are trying to balance their new career with all the attention it brings and dealing with other personal issues. Just like the other books, it is laugh-out-loud humour and I just could not stop myself from laughing even though I was in a public area (I almost feel sorry for the two teenaged lads who had to sit next to me on the flight). You really have to wonder how these things can happen to one family, although there's nothing so outrageous that makes it feel unbelievable. Come to think of it, that's probably why it works so well - the things Jamie and Laura get up to could easily happen to you and Jamie and Laura are likeable and easy to relate to.If you have not read any of the Love... books before, it is highly recommended that you do before reading this one, as there are several references to the previous three books. It has been a while since I have read them myself, but I like them so much, that all the references to the other books came flooding back pretty much instantly.Another great read from Nick Spalding and look forward to book 5 in due course.

Love 4
I didn't fancy the third in this series but jumped straight to the fourth as this storyline looked more my thing. As with the others in this series, the story is told by both Jamie (on his blog) and Laura (in her diary) with the chapters going back and forth. It seems that tJamie and Laura have been publishing the previous books themselves (we don't need Nick any more haha) and they have just published book number 3, so we follow them as they go through publishing and promoting it. As ever, things never run smoothly. My favourite bit was where they were invited to the film premier. As it happened, things didn't really go as badly as they expected it to. I also like the recurring character - you'll know who it is when you read it.This was a very easy book to read. Yes, it can be crude at times, but I found this to be quite a romantic story. Jamie and Laura really love each other. I didn't find it "laugh out loud" but did find it sweet and humerous.

Life’s funny side gets more serious
Having read and enjoyed several of Nick Spalding’s books I had high expectations of this one. I was not disappointed, as the apparent chaos of life with the Newmans was laid bare. The ploy of them being the writers of their own misadventures works really well, and the later episodes show that serious issues can be equally well dealt with. Looking forward to the next instalment.

Pedalo fun
With life being constantly unkind, being in constant pain and feeling stressed 50% of the time (pretty sure that is most people's life right now) oh, and turning 60, there isn't too much to laugh about. My children recommended this series of books, although the language occasionally offended my eyes :-0 I have honestly laughed out loud so many times. This book is no exception, it's easy reading, funny and in places so hilarious, I have half choked to death! Please let there be a book 5, I have to know how the Newman's get on. Thank you for making life a little easier and funnier.
