Looks like a good place to keep crickets!
I haven't been able to use my Kricket Keepers! They came before the crickets that seem to be lostin the mail.

Great Product, Just A Little Cheaply Made
This product does exactly what is meant to do. I have had no issues of crickets escaping in the 3-4 weeks I've had it and haven't had a high death rate. The only issues I have are concerning the material and build quality of the unit. Some of the hatches are difficult to operate and the flip down caps that cover the feeding tubes are mostly useless. That being said, this makes the whole process of feeding my lizards much easier. Good product for the price.

Good quality product.
Keeping live crickets can be a pain, but this keeper makes it much easier. I haven't had any escape and because they typically conglomerate into the tubes it makes feeding my tarantula easy. Just tap a tube until one falls into his space.

Make sure you get all the parts
VENDOR take note - the unit arrived with only one tube. There was no product packaging - just the keeper with some packing material in the Amazon box. I had to get it exchanged for a complete one.As for the keeper itself - it's a good size for the few dozen from the store to feed our lizards. Probably not big enough for a breeding stock.I second the comments about the tubes catching the covers, covers popping off, and covers not closing by themselves. We have had this model for over a decade. The plastic deteriorates and the parts get lost. We started with at least 2 units and finally had the last one (with only 1 tube left) develop a big hole in the bottom. It was a good run though, so I've got few complaints.

Cricket container
A little small , so if you want to put more then 30 crickets get bigger size .... other then that does the purpose

Crickets EVERYWHERE!
Bought this for my daughter because she got a lizard for Christmas... This thing is cheaply made to say the least!! The crickets big and small escape from around the tubes and some of the slats that were bigger, so now there's crickets running around her room! She has taped it everywhere she thinks they may be getting out of, but they keep escaping. The top door is hard to close, to the point where you feel like you're going to break it if you press any more! Do not buy this just because its a few $ less than others! Spend the extra few $ and get one that actually KEEPS the crickets inside! Plus, the ones that cost a little more usually come with a water bowl and sponge for the crickets, this one does not.

Good idea on paper, not so much in action.
Like the tubes, so do the crickets, so it's easy to get them out. The little access door on the top is quite small, so getting your hand in there to feed/clean is a pain. Plus the "food and water" dishes are just extra end caps for the tubes, so basically useless. (and larger versions have the same small access door.I had large crickets, so escapees was not an issue, but I can see how it would be with smaller ones. The idea seems solid, but not really a long-term solution if you're actually trying to keep feeder crickets.

See on top of the the black tubes, the two openings? On top of the openings there’s a little hole: ducktape the hell out of it or crickets will escape.Awesome product.

Crickets are thriving!
I have two spiderlings so I was keeping tiny pinhead crickets. At first I didn't put them in here but once I thought they were big enough I put them in with sawdust on the ground and an egg container cardboard. I covered most of the vents and holes just in case - but the crickets don't ever go up there! Since I've put them in there they have grown loads! However, I do let the crickets have one side of one of my spiderlings heat mats up the side of the keeper so that might have something to do with their longevity.I use the two pots to put banana (or whatever I have at hand) in every few days. And they have a little bottle cap with bark now which has water in it - I didn't put this in when they were tiny!Anyway functionally, I don't move the keeper apart from when I'm putting the fruit in. When I feed my spiders I pull out one of the black tubes and shake the crickets in there (usually between 3 and 6) into a tennis ball tube and then I push one out with a paintbrush into the spider enclosure. Afterwards the crickets will easily go back into the black tube or you can tip them back through the top hatch into their home. And that's it!So in summary, its really easy to feed your pet - no chasing crickets around. And the crickets do really well in there. I love watching them explore, eat and drink.
