This was a total impulse buy. I had bought an item similar to this one before so I assumed the both were essentially similar. Well I was wrong. This slot machine cannot use real coins so u have to buy plastic coins. Once u put in at least 2 or more plastic pennies then u have to push a button to make each reel spin. It has really loud nonadjustable sounds. W h en this machine hits a winning reel combination, it will release plastic pennies. It bears to mention that this slot machine is one of the highest priced toy slot machines Amazon sells. For me this toy slot machine was over priced, it couldnt take real coins and got boring within ten minutes of use. There are better choices out there, and this is not one of them.

The machine was likely dropped or handled harshly before I got it, so the motor would not engage with any of the slot wheels. The sounds are there, though it can't be muted or turned down beyond rotating the speaker cover to expose/cover holes. Not overwhelming, though. When I first tried it and nothing spun, it meant I won with how it arrived, and it does a one-coin-at-a-time dispense into the tray. If it was actually playable, it might be alright, but if it couldn't make it here with packaging, I don't want it around the house where it could get toppled by a pet or anything.

This is better than I expected, makes noise and pays out like a real slot machine. Purchased for a an adult friend since we like gambling, since he is laid up for a while at home I thought this would be fun for him to play at home. He really likes it and I am very pleased at the quality and effects that this offers. We played it all evening on Halloween while waiting for kids to show up to trick or treat. Good times! ALMOST as good as the real thing.

The title said bank so I was expecting to be able to put actual coins in it. I guess a dime fits but it's either that or the included tokens. Price is way to high.
