The pipe is a hefty SCH40 thickness which makes it nice and sturdy. The clear pipe and the clean out holes at the top of each side makes it easy to see if the trap is clogged and to clean it. I tie-strapped the brush to the pipe so that it can be found easily by whomever needs to clean it out. For a great looking install, when you use your PVC cement to put together the pipes, wipe any excess cement or purple primer off so that the clear pipe trap doesn't get stained. All AC installers should include this type of trap so that homeowners can do their own AC maintenance... especially as easy as a trap clean out.

I am very happy with this condensate trap. Its easy to install with 3/4” pvc. I like the brush and the clear section. They make it easy to keep it clean and obvious when to clean it.

This drains the air handler better because one end is lower than the other. It’s quick to clean and it can be accessed easily. The plunger works great. I had to crawl under my house in the middle of the night because ac unit had stopped up due to slime growth. It’s easy to pour vinegar and or water because the stoppers making it easier. A trap has to have water in it to work properly. It’s good because it’s clear, you can see what’s in it. I highly recommend it
