This door has performed well beyond my expectations. It was the only viable option for the application we had, but we were concerned about durability. It has done well. Easy to install, it can be modified as needed. It lacks a lock, but we do not require that. It has effective magnetic closures. We add a little white lithium grease to the track on occasion, so it continues to work smoothly.

I purchased the 48" W Premium Foldable Accordion Doors, Double, because I needed an affordable way to add privacy to an open area in my home. The doors were surprisingly easy to install, with clear instructions and all the necessary hardware included. Once installed, they provided exactly the privacy I was looking for while still allowing the space to feel open when folded back. The accordion design operates smoothly, and the doors fold neatly out of the way when not in use. The quality feels sturdy, and the finish looks attractive and blends well with my décor. We had this installed for us by a handyman and it took him about two hours. If you DIY it, it will undoubtedly take you longer. Just FYI. The door is attractive and the magnetic closure is very grabby. Note, however, that if you're using this for a bedroom door as we are, the panels do not block light from outside well. I wouldn't necessarily say "translucent," but the glow through the door is surprising if you're not expecting it. Not sure how to fix it beyond painting the inside of the door black, which isn't the esthetic we're going for.

Nice set, I would just add, you might want to buy an extra small magnet to add to the magnet mechanism there because it's not big enough or powerful enough to keep door shut. My husband just put a small magnet there and it's perfect!

Be exact on your measurements and you will have agreat fit of your product on your hands. Great construction better looks. Instructions are easy to fallow and the thickness is very goog. Good shine.

The material used is so flimsy and of low quality, I wouldn’t even bother wasting your time nor money on this garbage. Even if you installed it perfectly, it’s impossible to pass the door in a month’s time without casually bumping against the frame, which will just break and chip and fall apart. Theoretically, if they used this same design with an actual hard plastic or something tougher, it’d totally work, but even just installing the frame that the magnets connect to, the screws will immediately on day 1 break that frame since there’s no real backing to secure it, therefore the screws will pull the inside of the magnet frame and begin deteriorating it immediately. Not pet friendly either. Additionally, when I ordered it, the color advertised is ‘not’ what shows up at your door. It’s likely you’ll have to cut these yourself, which again the cheap plastic with immediately split and chip. There is ZERO reason to buy this unless you hate money, or you like a chipped/split deteriorating look to your home, then go ahead.

For the price, this is gonna be one of the better quality foldable accordion doors available. The panels are double thick & hollow. The panels hang perfectly straight, hinge very nicely, and roll very smooth in the upper track. I was impressed. The door panel can be cut to height if too long for your door height opening. It doesn’t really work well installed on the wall in-front of an opening. I used an electric miter (chop) saw to cut mine. Must make sure all the panels are even before cutting. I guess a small hand-held electric saw could do the trick, but might not yield as nice a straight cut across all the panels. If you don’t have a miter saw, you might want to hire a handyman to cut & install. Once it’s cut to size it’s very-very simple to install.
