Installation isn't that difficult, it's just a handful of screws, though running the power and signal wires could be a task depending on your vehicle. With my Jeep it's pretty easy. This monitor has RCA inputs and outputs, which is great since my DSP is RCA in. The monitor plugs right into it. There is an HDMI port on the side so it's very easy to connect your phone for mirroring or to watch a show. The screen itself is crisp and bright, and there are speakers that are exposed when you flip the monitor down. I haven't tested these as I have it piped through the audio system, but it's nice to know there's a backup. Overall I'm very happy with this little monitor.
