This is not the “best” safe you can buy, but it will serve your purpose. It comes with the screws and anchors. I used them to secure the safe. The keypad access is very straight forward. So, can’t go wrong with this safe for securing documents, jewelry etc. A couple of gripes. Shelf is reasonably flimsy. The felt pad is like tissue paper. Overall, happy with the purchase. Not Brinks, but good for my purposes.

Crap. Thin walls and holes in back for afixing to a wall prevent it from being the least bit fireproof or waterproof. Additionally, the key pad doesn't work. Changed batteries twice. Truly worthless.

I couldn't find the key in the package, so I returned it. Later, I found the key in a thin paper box. It looked like a piece of paper -- I was expecting the key would be visible when I opened the package, I forgot to check the thin box that I thought was a piece of paper." This product is amazing, for the price its an amazing buy. The only bad thing about this product is it won't be able to handle a robber, that should be a hint by the price other then that it is a great safe for making sure guests at your house don't take any of your items, but It most likely would break to a drill,saw,hammer to the top of the safe. The door has 3 bolts, has a bult in light, and is very strong. The only weak part of the safe is the roof every other side is amazing and thick. I hope this helps!

Needed a new fireproof safe as my previous one was too small and snapped in two when it was accidentally dropped so started a search. Tried another one which was totally impossible to open as the door was WAY too tight & we could not get leverage with the tiny turn dial used to pull back the rods & open the door. THIS 1.2cuft fireproof / waterproof safe was GREAT. Roomy interior, easy to program my passcode, turn dial moves smoothly & door opens easily! Only had it a day but super happy with my purchase
