I chose the gray & it is beautiful. I have gotten many compliments. My daughter got the khaki & it is a rich brown & very pretty.

I think it's medium. Small bags to me are very minimalistic. This one is big enough to carry quite a few items. I think its the perfect size.

I got caught in the rain and my stuff on the inside stayed dry. Just wiped it with a dry towel and it was fine.

Yes! I bought a separate adjustable purse strap purse strap from Amazon and wear it as a crossbody sometimes. The strap that comes with it might actually be long enough as well.
