Miss Lavish LondonKaftan Dress

I bought this having read the reviews. I ordered a larger size than I normally wear. This is loose but comfortably so. It reaches down below my knees but doesn't trail on the floor even barefoot, I'm 5' 6".It is made of very thin, lightweight material that is cool to wear and is not see through. The pattern is very vibrant and the neckline is rather plunging, more so than I would normally choose.It feels light and comfortable either wearing around the house, my preference, or as a nightie.It feels soft and smooth against the skin and, despite being loose fitting, it hangs well.I'm pleased with my purchase and expect it will get plenty of use on hot evenings.

I only gave a 4 start to this dress, not because it is not excellent, but because the material is very light. For me it is a plus as I use it as a house dress. What I mean is that I wear it in the house all day and most days in the summer. However it is a very light materials and will at my rate probably only get one summer of use. I also like to wear this time of garnement outside the house and for this I do not feel that it is heavy enough. I am short, about 5ft2 and this fit perfectly.

There is only one minor fault, due to packing in a cellophane bag and possibly coming from India the Kaftan has a slight but noticeable smell, a quick rinse in fabric conditioner and all's fine. The workmanship and the print are excellent. For my wife who is quite tall, the length at 52inches is spot on. As the person who buys and pays for them i have absolutely no complaints whatsoever!

This is the second kaftan in this style I have bought and it is the only garment which has ever fitted properly. I consistently look for sizes 26-28 but on arrival find that the hips are too tight for comfort. This kaftan is perfect and I wish they had more colours because I would buy it over and over again. It is pretty, light to wear and very very comfortable.

It's very big. Im size 10-12 and this is like size 20. And its very long, all the way to the floor (I'm 5'4) But, it still looks great on!! Had colour dye smell when arrived but a quick wash on 30 degrees with mild detergent soon sorted that out. Dried quickly, colour didn't run. Will just need a light iron before wearing. Great dress for summer evenings, or lounging around on a warm day. Can't wait for summer now!

Use kaftans for around the house and as these are not see through they are ideal. However they are nice and light. Appear well made and first wash went well. Material is lovely and the best kaftans I have purchased so far. Very happy with purchase

I adore these kaftans and have quite a few of them plus the top version. You can dress them up and down and they are perfect to wear in hot weather or for lounging around the house!!!!

This is just wonderful! Lovely fabric, amazing colour combination, beautifully made, and a flattering fit... I’m a size 10 and you could probably still fit into it at a size 18, but it’s so stylish it looks great whatever size you are! Love it! At the price - incredible!
