Turtle Beach VelocityOne Multi-Shift Sim Racing Shifter & Handbrake for Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S & Xbox One – 7-Gear + R H-Gate & Sequential Shifter, Handbrake, Hall-Effect Magnetic Sensors – Black

My sim racing setup is an amalgamation of Fanatec wheelbase and wheel, Thrustmaster load cell pedals, and this shifter. I previously used the Thrustmaster TH8A, which is great if you're looking for an H-pattern and will exclusively use it for that. However, I wanted something that offers sequential shifting and the ability to transition from H-pattern to sequential with the flip of a switch, and the Multi-Shift allows for that. Using the H-pattern actually feels pretty close to a real car: When shifting into gear, there is a slight bit of resistance as you enter a gear, adding that little bit of immersion. It has 7 speeds plus reverse, and features an safety requiring you to push down if you want to enter either seventh or reverse. There is also a button for high/low gears, so it can be used for sim trucking as well. It also shifts right into gear without any delay. I had heard of issues on this shifter of there being a slight bit of lag on shifting, but this appears it was possibly a driver issue, and primarily an issue when directly plugged into Turtle Beach's wheelbase. When plugged directly into the computer, I had no such problems. Sequential shifting is accessed by simply flipping a switch on the right side. I don't have any other sequential shifters to compare it to other than the TH8A in sequential mode. It feels good; definitely not great and snappy, but it does the job. It also feels better than the TH8A's sequential and doesn't require you to remove 4 screws and rotate the unit just to access the mode, so it has that massive advantage. You can also use it as a handbrake, though I definitely feel you should have a dedicated unit for that rather than use this. Build-wise, it's predominately plastic, with the exception of the shaft and the optional included shift knob (and I imagine some of the internals). It's not an all/mostly metal affair like the TH8A, but the Multi-Shift is definitely not a lightweight, so there must be more metal inside. You do have an option of 3 different shaft lengths, depending on your shifter mode or preference. The plastic shifter knob definitely feels cheap, so I leave the metal knob on all the time. It's meant for the sequential shifter/handbrake, but I find it's just find for H-pattern. If you're new to sim racing and want a shifter that's a great H-pattern and good sequential shifter with an easy way to switch between the two, this is hard to beat for the price. If you're only looking for an H-pattern, there are certainly other, cheaper options and I would look there first before considering this, but I would still recommend you check this shifter. Judging by reviews of the other Turtle Beach sim racing products, this is their best effort.

Excellent shifter. Everything about this H pattern shifter comes across as premium. It feels great looks great and functions perfectly. I wish there was a bit more resistance when shifting, for a more realistic feel but I can live with how it feels. The sequential shift mode is excellent. Wouldn't really change a thing in that mode. I don't really use it as a E brake, I already have one but it does work as a E brake as well. I wish it was priced a bit less like maybe $100. As it is right now I feel like it's maybe a bit overpriced. But I'm still gonna give it 5 stars. All in all it's a great shifter and I'm glad I bought it.

Works perfectly on NASCAR 25 but does have a very high dead zone when using it in controller mode on GTA, would be great to see and update for dead zone on controller mode

The shifter build quality is great and heavy duty feeling, but it kinda lugs into gears with a slight snap. It isn’t a smooth shift persay if anyone cares about that, I don't seem to notice it in races or normally driving around. The clamp is great and strong and I love how they hid it with the flip door, I didn’t have any issue with the software, it calibrated and updated fine. I used this on Pc and set up was pretty easy for Corsa and The Crew MotorFest and played nice with my Moza wheel. For it being more expensive than other shifters on the market, it’s the most realistic, I’d say, if you’re making your setup close to a daily road car driving type of setup the price isn't a bad bullet to bite. I’m quite happy with it. You get the look of the Logitech shifter with the function of a Thrustmaster TM8 while having a better build quality and, to some, a better look. Item was defective never could get it to work with my PC or Xbox I tried troubleshooting extensively to no success for 300 plus this wheel should be plug and play after install might of just been my experience but it pissed me off so bad i actually managed to go thru the whole return process

Overall, it’s a smooth, sturdy, and space‑friendly combo that delivers exactly what I hoped for.

Exceeded my expectations. Feels solid and realistic. I have the Logitech shifter. There's no comparing the two. One's a toy. The other, turtle beach, a well thought out, well built piece of simracing kit. UPDATE: Still love the product. It just stopped working. Looking into the issue, it seems there's still some bugs. Every now and then my pc wouldn't recognize the shifter and I would have to flash the firmware. The other day when I tried flashing, the app crashed and it hasn't worked since. I love this shifter, it has multi use functionality when shifting there’s an almost tactile feel. The accessories it comes with are also amazing. Def worth the money build quilt and functionality are amazing

Je reviens sur mon premier avis car j’avais eu un problème avec le premier shifter Turtle beach. J’ai obtenu un retour et renvoi d’un autre qui fonctionne très bien, En H comme en séquentiel. Le renvoi c’est fait très rapidement reçu 2 jours après, super rapide je ne m’y attendais pas. Très content de mon achat à un rapport qualité prix excellent. Je recommande donc ce produit.

The desk clamp was stuck from factory, the provided Allen key started to wear when I tried to use excessive force to try untighten it following the instructions exactly. Also the gear shifter knob is very fragile and the parking break button is non functioning, it is not recognized as a bind key.

Bon volant, mais si vous êtes sur Xbox se sera compliqué, alors les jeux du type Forza horizon ou forza motorsport fonctionne très bien, mais quand on sort des jeux fais par Xbox c’est là où ça coince. F1 24 compatible, mais plutôt dur à calibrer. Asseto corsa competizione n’est juste pas compatible . Donc 3/5 car les promesses sont tenu mais sur Xbox, catalogue de jeux très réduit.
