Works perfectly every season! After the deer ate all my hibiscus I set these out and have never had an issue since. Will continue to buy every season.

I put these out, so far the deer haven't come into our pumpkin patch. We have a terrible time with the deer eating our pumpkins each year. Hopefully this will deter them. It's still early to tell. I'll update later. I thought the design was awful, I didn't care for the bent metal rods, you have to bend them out straight (which is difficult if you don't have much strength in your hands). Plus the piece that sits on top of metal rod barely sits on it, it falls right off. So I bent the end of metal rod (with pliers) into a small loop & twisty tied them on cuz a wind of any kind would send them blowing for sure. It didn't smell to me at all so we'll see if the deer can pick up on it. We've already had a pretty good storm since I put them out & I'm very glad I twisty tied them on or who knows where they would have blown to. Since they weren't super expensive I got them to see if they'd help us with the deer problem. I'll update after harvest!! UPDATE: Don't waste your money. The deer have come into the pumpkin patch & are happily eating away! These don't keep them away or hinder the deer in any way at all. Besides the bad design of the metal stake they come with to put the piece on top of (that falls right off if you bump it or the wind blows) this product doesn't work at all. So disappointed.

This works! After deer ate my giant hostas, someone recommended this because it saves her garden. I placed the stations near every hostas, and they have not been eaten. Others I have asked about the deer issue, even at a gardening center, said there was nothing I could do. So glad they were wrong.

Bending the wire to be straight to put in ground was a bit challenging, but the first two years I used this, there were NO deer in my beds. I told all of my neighbors about it. But this year the pods didn't work at all. Not sure why, but I'll try one more year to see if it was a fluke. There is no bad smell, and you don't have to reapply like the spray, and very reasonable. They last about one summer, but that worked well in North Florida.

deer still walk by this... i saw one the other day just nibbling on the greenery next to it. i think it does work to some degree. i installed ring cams late last year, and they dont get triggered as much as they used to. i dont remember if it suppose to work on rabbits, but they still seem to come around as well. i dont smell anything unusual. i still have 3 more, maybe 6, which i can put in the back edge of property.

Did not work at all. I put it within inches of my tomato plant and came out the next morning to a mostly eaten tomato plant. Super disappointing. Spend the money on the ultrasonic repellent instead.

Works as stated. BUT, dogs will want to chew the stations as they have dried blood for repellent.

When you have tried everything and found no way to deter the deer, this will work. My flowers were constantly being eaten but the smell of blood is prevalent and keeps them away. Do be aware that the odor can be quite strong to sensitive noses, deer and human! That said, it is effective. Definitely would recommend.
