I was very sceptical that this product would work because it is plant based but I wanted to give it a go because it's eco-friendly. I used it on my severely limescaled kettle and left it for longer than it said just to make sure it worked. Other brands ask you to boil the kettle but this didn't. When I looked the kettle was completely limescale free. I was very impressed. Instead of pouring the used mixture down the drain I then poured the used mixture down the loo to see if I could shift any of the limescale there. It did!

I would have given this 5 stars if there were instructions. Had to wing it a bit but got there. Used for the kettle with amounts stated but was not prepared for it to foam like a fountain from the spout when the it reached boiling point. So glad I had it directed by the sink. But, yes it did the job very well and I have a gleaming kettle. Compared to the sachets available in supermarkets I would say this way of buying it is definitely good value for money. As a side note, when it fountained over the stainless steel sink it made that sparkle too. A good way to clean the sink.

Got this to remove the burned scale on the heating plate on my glass kettle (brown and ugly burn) put some in with a little water and let it sit for 5 minutes, no change. Turned the kettle on to put a little heat on it and it all magically disappeared. Like new. Great stuff. Highly recommend

Works after a while but not as quick as other descalers

Used this product before so this is a re-purchase. Like the brand and the bottle as I usually purchase in little sachets but this size is more cost effective. Does what it says on the bottle mainly used to descale the kettle but i'll be trying it on my iron so expect a good result their also.

Okay so I didn’t take a photo of the inside of the kettle before starting, wish I had. Photos really speak for themselves. Easy to use. I bought liquid product to ratio is 100ml product to 400ml water. I found the video on YouTube on how to use but to be honest reading reviews on here was more helpful. Step one: added 400ml water to empty kettle Step two: boiled kettle Step three: added 100ml of product to kettle Step four: jiggled kettle to make sure water and product mixes and leave for 30 minutes *** Step five: boil kettle with water and product in ***warning this will for some people mean the mixture comes out of the spout and lid of kettle. My kettle is only small one litre hold, so might not be the case if you have a 1.8 or 2 litre kettle. I was prepared and had cloths around to catch the water and just left it to bubble. Step six: empty mix from kettle by pouring down sink. Step seven: fill kettle with plain water and boil, I repeated this x3 Step eight: enjoy your kettle as usual. For just over three quid and 5 applications in the kettle this was a bargain for someone who lives in a high water area. I’m impressed. No elbow grease needed so brilliant cleaner for people who struggle to clean and scrub with arthritis, like I do. I’ve bought their other products now to use on washer and dishwasher.

Does exactly what it's designed for. Cleans appliances and flasks really well. Very effective descaler.
