It dissolves 100% in warm hard well water. I haven’t tried cold. I have a water softener but my water is still hard. This smells amazing like Gain but better. It cleans amazingly. My whites came out bright white without any other boosters. It got rid of armpit and collar sweat stains. After doing some research only 2 tablespoons is needed for a regular load. I didn’t see any suds but my clothes still came out clean. It took out every stain that had been imbedded for years.Con’s- pricey. No other detergent compares. I’ve tried them all

First let me say I have eczema on my back. So having tried everything from the store shelf I decided to try this.Outside of an amazing clean, if you use the Extra Rinse on your machine you will not have any scent at all. Big bonus there!For a full load of stinky work clothes I use 1/3 cup. If it is one of those toxic loads kids create, it is 1/2 cup just in case.I only wash in cold or warm water, and it performs amazingly well in either. I have no feedback on hot performance as I don’t use it.I do note that for the eczema, I have not needed the Sarna lotion!

Still, the best detergent out there. I have used the liquid for years, but wanted to be more sustainable and use the powder that comes in a cardboard box. I transferred it to a 2 gallon bucket and us 1/3rd cup per wash. Scent is milder than the liquid and it cleans well. It will last a long time. I'm told that it's the number one detergent in Europe. We cannot use the American Tide in our laundry, skin reactions and found this to clean every time. I ordered it in March 2025 and am just getting to the last layer in September. So, it's lasting 7 months for me. A great value.

There is a difference between the German product and the American one so be sure you’re buying the one with German packaging. While more expensive than typical laundry detergents, I like how clothes smell fresher even without fabric softeners. I mostly use the detergent for bedding where I can see the most difference in cleaning. Laundry smells like it was dried outside.

I purchased this specific soap powder on the advice of my Dermatologist. I wanted to have some experience with using it before I wrote my review. This soap powder, from Germany, is just not like any detergent I've ever used - I have always been a "Tide/Chlorox/Bounce" purchaser - NOT ANYMORE! My clothes came out soft, white, CLEAN! I mean, CLEAN! Old stains not removed in prior laundering came out with Persil Powder! I used the wool dryer balls instead of a dryer sheet. Together, my clothes look and feel like new! There are no English instructions, but I used between 1/2 cup and for the whites, I used a bit more. While this detergent is expensive at first glance, it really isn't when you factor in not having to use softeners and bleach. I cannot recommend this product highly enough - I especially recommend it to anyone who has sensitive skin or allergies as I do. I hope to not ever buy any other laundry detergent!

Third time I’ve bought it. Love it! Better than the product made here. Hopefully they’ll keep stocking it

Great detergent. Really cleans clothes with a small amount, however way too expensive to order again.

Product is wonderful from previous use prior to this order. This order: Vendor shipping arrived damaged and spilling out product from outer box (outer packaging requested as product would have been shipped in original container. Even with a secondary box, product arrived damaged.
