heavy aroma but quite sour
These are great dried Blenheim apricots that are bursting with heavy apricot aroma. Blenheim and Moorpark are what true apricots should be. No other variety can rival Blenheim in aroma with the exception of Moorpark. They are not like the wimpy sweet but totally tasteless Turkish apricots and other bland modern apricots you find in supermarkets nowadays. The only negative with this particular grower's dried apricots is they are quite sour, indicating they were picked when not fully ripe, but that does not diminish the heavy aroma. Another brand that I bought from is B&R which costs a lot more than this brand but B&R is noticeably sweeter and less sour than this brand.

Taste like natural dried apricots should taste
These dried apricots are not sweet and quite tart. They are not soft and mushy but are a bit chewy. I had to hunt for these and tried various ones before finding these. I like them. They taste and chew like natural dried apricots should. Taste is an individual preference so if you like them sweet, soft and colorful, these aren’t for you. I tried some dark Turkish ones that had an odd taste (to me). I also tried the sweetened soft ones and just gave them away (not to my taste)

The Best!
We have always bought our apricots from Trader Joe's, because my wife much prefers the California apricots over the Turkish ones. Trader Joe's was out of apricots, so I went on-line to see what else was out there. The reviews for the Sincerely Nuts California apricots were excellent, so I figured it was worth giving them a try. I didn't tell my wife I had made the switcheroo, but after she ate a couple of the Sincerely Nuts apricots, she asked where did I get these. When I explained what I had done, she said "So Long Trader Joe's!" There are a little more expensive, but are definitely worth the extra cost. They are large, rich, and flavorful! We're sold!!!!!

The best dried apricots I've ever eaten!
If I could give this product 10 stars, I would! I grew up eating dried apricots and these gems are the biggest, fattest, most flavorful of any I can remember ever eating, and the price is great considering the quality. These are the slightly tart, flavorful apricot halves that I ate growing up. I don't care for the sweet flavor of the Turkish variety that are everywhere. I will be looking at what other products Sincerely Nuts has to offer. Thank you Sincerely Nuts

Impossible to find in stores, and these are well worth it. So delicious, a special treat!I
I have loved California apricots since I was a kid, over 40 years ago. Little by little, the stores replace these with the less tasty and plain, Turkish or Mediterranean apricots. This is probably due to California apricots being sensitive to turning brown etc.. Stores probably lost money. And those natural apricots, that come brown, I don't like those.Anyway, these apricots are delicious, moist and tangy, as they should be. Sure, not cheap, but the bag is larger than was ever sold in stores, and I consider it a delicacy. I will surely buy again!! One minor issue with the bag itself, was the ziploc didn't close after you cut the top off the bag.

Flavorless.
I have been eating California apricots for as long as I can remember. The signature of a California apricot is that it is tart. These apricots don't have any flavor let alone tartness. There is a store in MA who sells the best California apricots I've ever had. Fastachi's. Their dried California apricots (and the pineapple rings) are to die for. If you want tart CA apricots with a lot of flavor, go to Fastachi online.

Tangy and delicious! Great for snacking!
I love apricots! I don't, however, love Turkish apricots. California are the only way to go. They have so much more flavor! I used to buy the Sunmaid ones in the grocery stores but haven't found them lately. It's just as well because they were pretty expensive for the bag you got and, more often than not, were pretty dried out. I've bought these a few times and they are always moist and full of flavor. We also use them for a secret family cookie recipe but, of course, I can't share that!

Gross Chemical Taste
The apricots I received are inedible. They have a gross chemical taste that makes me concerned they are not safe to eat. They are not cheap, either...too bad there is no option for contacting seller for replacement. I have ordered these before and they were fine, but I probably won't chance it again since another batch like this would just be a waste of another chunk of cash.
