I’ve had this and used it many times. Works great! It’s been fun to learn how to use. Can get a variety of shading with different heat settings.

I'm new at the hobby, and this burner gives me control. Easy to use, came with plenty of tips. I can practice different heat levels without committing a ton of money. Very happy with my purchase.

A few minutes into my projects it stops working. At first it seems fine when you first turn it on, but after a few minutes, it stops burning the wood. It still feels hot, but the metal tip is not burning. I’ve tried different settings and different tips, but nothing is working.

After looking at other models, I bought one of these and used it for three days - getting to learn how it works. I am only working on birch bark which I harvest from dead trees on our property. I was so impressed that I bought a second kit to have it at the cabin and at home. A very good buy with two pens and many head options. Easy to change tips, easy to learn the temp settings and all in all, a very good product. Looking forward to a lot of fun.
