Better than Nono brand brackets - I ordered these to complete a an odd set of outside mount brackets I'd made with the "original" Nono brackets (ordered directly from retailer) so I could put up a curtain rod instead of using the hideous and annoying blinds in my rental apartment. The Nono brackets don't stay in place, but these did immediately! I struggled repeatedly with the Nono brackets, but these were super easy and quick to install. They're also strong enough to support a long curtain rod, the patio sliding-glass size, without a 3rd bracket in the middle. Very satisfied! If you're in an apartment and want actual curtains instead of whatever crappy blinds you're given, these are perfect because there is no drilling, no mess, and no damage. Wish I'd bought these a long time ago!
