Quality isn't amazing, but do you need high-end tools for this?
It's hard to say that these are good pliers by any real stretch. They're made of metal that I'd consider way too soft for the job. However, I was able to successfully use them for the time being. The reason I'm going to give it a slightly mid-positive review is this:If you're like me and not a mechanic for a living but you like working on your own vehicles, you're going to change CV boots maybe once on your car (twice if you drive cars until the wheels fall off). It hardly justifies getting a good set at 8 times the cost, in my opinion. I've done this job I think 3 times in my 30 years of driving and working on my own cars and I'd say these will probably hold up to that much use.If you are a mechanic or you work on lots of cars, definitely move to a more high-end set.So this is all to say that no, these are not high quality and don't seem very durable. But CV boots are a job that the average self-maintenance car owner isn't going to do enough times to really care. I've got a rule with tools and it's "Get the inexpensive one, and if it breaks, you use it enough to need a good one". I've saved a lot by doing things that way and this is no exception in my opinion.

The two tools you need to make up those stainless steel clamps
I often work on cars and occasionally I have to replace these special type of stainless steel bands that require a special tool that crimps them, and to date, I've never had one. These 2PCS CV Boot Clamp Pliers, CV Axle Boot Clamp Pliers With CV Joint Boot Clamp Pliers, can be used not only on the CV axle boot clamps, but on other clamps such as for your inner tie rod and other such clamps. One of the tools holds the stainless steel strap while the other crimps it, ensuring that you get a night tight seal. The tools come in a set and you get both the holder and the crimper in this set. The tools are high quality and a fantastic value for the price that you are paying for them!

Works great
These tools make replacing CV boots a lot easier than installing the clamps manually.I'm not able to get the clamp on a lot tighter leaving less chance of grease leaking and the crimper works perfectly.A must have for mechanics that actually repair instead of just replacing.

2PCS CV Boot Clamp Pliers
These seem like good quality for the price point. I had to use them to replace an inner tie rod clamp and they worked as they should.

Geht besser
