How long is a piece of string?
A substantial ball of string. The price of this heavy duty cotton string compared very favourably with similar in local shops. Very satisfied!

great for tying alsorts together garden and home
well there's not much i can say about a ball of string its very strong but still easy enough cut with scissors or a sharp knife, you can hang pictures up you can tie floppy plants up, i even use it to tie cables together just the ball of string i wanted good buy should last me years still have plenty left am happy with it.

heavy duty cotton string
this string ball should release a length of string from the middle of the ball, to be cut off as required, but it was so tangled, no string could be pulled from the ball and it was impossible to use as it was intended to be used, which was very disappointing, because if it had worked okay, it would have been so easy to pull out a piece to cut off and keep the rest of the string ball tidy, without it unravelling.

Sturdy
Very sturdy string. I use it to hand up a white board on some screws. They have so far resisted any fraying and are holding strong.
