Magnifying Lamp with Clamp & Stand, 15X/8X, 5-Color & 10 Lightness Level

Light works great, I bought it for my fly tying stand.

Arrived on time, everything was intact, and nothing broken. I bought it because I recently got hearing aides and I clean/change out domes etc. that are very small and I need to see what I'm doing. It's perfect with the different magnification and light levels. It's so functional and helpful that my husband also ordered one for his desk at work. Absolutely love it. Highly recommend!

I bought this magnifying lamp for use at a workbench where I do small electronics and mechanical work, so being able to position the light and magnifier easily is important. Overall, it works well enough for hobby work, but there are a few design details that keep it from feeling like a great tool. The lamp includes two magnification levels (8X and 15X). In practice, the 15X lens is very small, which makes it difficult to position your work underneath it unless you’re looking at an extremely tiny area. Because of that, I ended up using the 8X lens most of the time, which has a much larger and more practical viewing area. The LED lighting is bright, but this model does not use a diffuser over the LEDs. Because of that you can see the spacing between the individual LEDs, and the light looks a little harsher compared to lamps that use a diffuser to create a smoother ring of light. It still works fine for seeing detail, but the illumination isn’t quite as uniform as higher-end magnifier lamps. Build quality is about what I would call average for this category. The arm itself works fine, but the clamp hardware is fairly typical of these lamps. The rubber pads on the clamp can slip off, and the tightening screws aren’t the easiest to adjust if you reposition the lamp frequently. The base is decent, but it can tip if the arm is extended too far backward, so placement matters. The arm length is also fairly typical for magnifier lamps like this, but I do wish a longer-reach version were available, in reality, another foot would be perfect. In my workspace I prefer to swing the lamp close when I need it and then move it well out of the way when I’m done, and a longer arm would make that easier. For smaller desks or tighter benches the current length is probably fine. Even with these limitations, the lamp still does what it’s supposed to do: provide magnification and lighting for detailed work. Overall: It’s a useful magnifier for bench work, but the tiny 15X lens and the non-diffused LED lighting are worth being aware of before buying.

This thing works really well. It has different settings for a warmer or cooler light color as well as how bright or dim you like the light to be. O got this for my mother and she uses it for some of her crafts and really likes it. It seems to be good quality. It comes with a base to set on a table, and it also comes with a clamp so you can clamp it to the eds of a work bench or table.

5.1” magnifier gives an excellent field of vision. Excellent optics allow your project to remain in clear focus at a range of distances. The lighting is even and shadowless, lighting up recesses and corners perfectly. Very stable base. The flexible gooseneck makes it easy to position as desired.

The glass is large enough to be able to get my embroidery hoop underneath to see the area I'm stitching. The light is bright, and the magnification is good to see the weave of the fabric. I'm very pleased with the light. I have it on the stand and currently and may try it with the clamp later. I like the ability to choose which one would work best.

Stable base and I love using it for puzzles and paint by numbers. I do wish it had a rechargeable feature though

Perfect for model making. Good amount of light out-put, though not the brightest. Magnifier depth is good. Nice wide base, so can support itself without additional clamp. Flexible stem holds well with no slack/droop.
