Easy install
Works as designed if you are missing the wire behind the wheel cover.

works as advertised, but stupid expensive
if your cruise control gets finnicky, you can replace the switch on the side of your steering column... but that switch comes with a cable for something else... so you find the cable with the correct grounding wire (this one) and they charge you the rest of what the toyota dealer was going to charge you...do yourself a favor, just go to Toyota and say your cruise control broke...

Works great. Overpriced
Used this to install cruise control in a Toyota vehicle that didn't have it. Didn't quite have time to fashion a custom cable so bought this to save time. While it saved me time, it's outrageously priced for a bit of tiny wire and plastic.

Bad connection
I used this to install cruise control in my 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser. After installing, which was pretty much plug and play, I still did not have working cruise control. I purchased an additional wiring harness kit from eBay (for $100) assuming my vehicle had not been pre-wired for cruise. After an hour of intense troubleshooting, I discovered that the pins used in this harness are slightly too big for the factory pins on the steering assembly and do not make consistent electrical connection. I was eventually able to gently mash the pins slightly with a pair of needlenose pliers to make a better connection and it now works, but I was not happy about the extra expense and troubleshooting time involved. Thought I was getting genuine OEM Toyota but I doubt it.
