My siamese boys love this thing!
I recently moved into a pretty small apartment after previously having a lot of property to walk my cats. I was really apprehensive about buying this for them, but needed to give them an outlet for energy since they are pretty active. What if they didn't like it? Once this wheel snaps together, I cannot imagine it would be very easy to disassemble for returns. Do I wanna take that risk?...It's a relief to say I'm glad I bought it. My boys FIGHT over using it! Yes it does wobble a little and I'm not sure why, but it doesn't seem to bother my cats at all. My smaller one runs at full speed on it with no issues.I appreciate its streamlined appearance and lightweight build. It's very easy to move around for sweeping and vacuuming; I simply scoot the base with my foot. The sound is much MUCH quieter than many of the other cat wheels I've seen elsewhere.Lastly, I read another reviewer say something about the smell of the pads, and for the life of me cannot figure out what the heck they are talking about. There is no smell. I have a VERY sensitive sense of smell and am the type that gets smell-induced migraines. This product does not put off any odor; not even the felt pads. Speaking of, I really like that the pads can be removed and changed out as needed. I didn't know when I purchased this that it would become a favorite scratcher/stretcher for my cats before walking or running. 10/10 would buy again!

So glad we got this thing. 2 out of 4 ain't bad.
Ok. This thing is great. We weren't sure how our cats would react. We have 4 cats. 2 get the zoomies through the house daily even though our house isn't really conducive for zoomies. We got tired of them crashing into things and got this wheel. Within 48 hours one of the 2 zoomers was trotting on it, and within 3 or 4 days our biggest, zoomiest male had learned to run on it. We honestly didn't have to do anything but entice them on it once or twice, they figured it out from there on their own. They absolutely love it. They both literally meow their heads off while running on it. It's so cute. They are both 3 years old. My other 2 cats are not remotely interested but they aren't as active in the first place. We mainly got it for the runners and they love it. So glad we finally bit the bullet and got this thing. We also considered a smaller brand because neither of our cats are particularly large, but I'm glad we didn't because this size seems good for even our littlest one (she's only about 6 or 7 lbs). Our male couldn't run on anything smaller, I don't think. It's more quiet than we imagined it would be. It sounds sort of like roller blades. If it's in the same room you sleep in it might be problematic but it's not bothersome in the next room. I also worried it would be wobbly, but it isn't, it's pretty sturdy.Overall it's paid for itself in entertainment for the cats as well as us.

Wheel no longer lights up.
My cats love this wheel, sometimes fighting over who runs on it next. They also notice the wheels when one of them is running and the wheels light up. However, after two months, one of the wheels is no longer lighting up.

The simplest build of all time!
5/21/2530 mins. Assembled Complete! I love the challenge of building stuff like this. & this wheel was NOT that..@ ALL! SIMPLICITY is the best description of this build. I bought the wheel & it's a great addition. I have new hard vinyl floors & fast cats on the floor is a slip & slide injury waiting 2 happen. It's gonna take training, & time. Instructions for training avaliable on utube.I'll vid wen done.Arrived w/ no missing parts, nice big size wheel, sturdy construction, looks great.

Amazing Product
Update: 5 days. No treats or feathers needed. Charlie and Skiptoo are now pros on the wheel. They both run an average of a dozen times a day, that we know of. The wheel is in our office/studio, so not sure how much they run when we are not in the room. It is in a cat's nature to run fast. This seems to give them something they can't get indoors - limitless running. We have a small home but it has 3 open levels so the cats are constantly running up and down the steps, but no matter how much they run they always encounter a dead-end. They have found they can run with no limits on the wheel.Always hesitant about ordering for cats. They are picky. If you are the same, stop and order this. We have had it 3 days and 2 of our boys are enjoying it. I had Charlie Potatoes running within minutes of setting it up. Did not bother with Skiptoo becasue he is a bit dumb. Wanted to get Charlie trained on it first.Charlie was on and off for the few minutes I was working with him. And I did a little yesterday. I am against lasers becasue I think they can mess with a cat's brain, so I used a feather stick. He chased it a bit but not enough for me to get excited.I just received a free pack of Churu bites in a pet food order and since Charlie loves his Churo's, I gave him one near the wheel (he has never had the bites) and held another half way up on the wheel. He went to town, so I gave the second bite, told him he was a good boy and went back to my computer. Suddenly, I heard the wheel going round and round. It was Skiptoo, training himself, running as fast as he could. So I don;t guess he is so dumb, after all.About 10 minutes the later the wheel started up again and it was Charlie Potatoes running like he was chasing game in the Serengeti.I am certain they were following the smell and looking for game. So keep that in mind. I would find a new treat and use it solely for a reward on the wheel, keeping it away from their regular dining area and other treats.I gave it 5 stars becasue it works. And, boy, was it easy to put together. It is bit cheap looking and I am not sure how long the felt padding will last, but the cats could care less. Bottom line - YAY!
