Excursions Aviary Netting 1" Heavy Knotted Poultry Net (25' x 50')

The snitting is very well made and should last very long time. I use it for covering my raspberries blueberries blackberries and strawberries. The netting does not catch birds as other smaller finer mesh netting does. But it keeps him out of my berry patch and I get to eat the fruit. The black color helps it blend in to the background.

To be fair, it was a challenge to install because we were building an outdoor aviary that had a dome shaped roof. figuring out how to measure, cut, and then suspend from a curved ceiling and attach to curved walls felt impossible at moments. It would likely be only 25% the difficulty if dealing with straight lines. We used high quality velcro ties, cut in narrow strips, to attach the mesh to the hardware cloth. It was far easier than using J-clips! I recommend the velcro ties if you are attaching to wire mesh.Additional comment: it's very strong and reliable not only because of the material, but because of the way that it is knotted at each corner of each square. If I order in the future, however, I would pick a smaller mesh, as I think it would work better for my birds when they fly toward it with the intention of latching on.

Very tough netting. Expensive but worth it to keep hawks from my wife's chickens.

We have small dogs and needed to protect them from predators. This is great.

high quality netting. worth the money. the others tangle up before you use them.
