I had a few extra bucks on an Amazon gift card and decided to pick these up. I have been curious about camera covers for a while and thought this was a good opportunity.The covers are built well but are made from cheap plastic. They are also a little bigger than they need to be.Before applying, make sure that the area is clean and dry so that the adhesive sticks well. I have this on my laptop and used to have it on my phone and it had a tendency to shift around.I don't recommend this for phones, or anything that you'll be using the camera on often. When taking my phone in and out of my pocket, the slide would move between the open and closed positions, which quickly wore down the plastic keeping the cover in the construction. It's much more durable and resistant to being moved in and out of my pocket.

This product isn’t bad, I quite like it and use it on my laptop for school. My only problem with it is that it doesn’t completely stick to the camera area. It keeps shifting.It’s not hard to move back over the camera however.

You can put this on your phone and won’t have to worry about it falling off immediately. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks now and I’m noticing a lot of pocket lint building up around the close inside and outsides. Often slides off the side you want it on from pockets. Other than that works as advertised!I recommend making it click in place a little

If you attach a tempered glass screen protection, this won’t fit.It doesn’t detect your face recognition.

These camera covers are great! Once installed, they appear as if they were part of the computer from the factory. The covers make the camera more inviting to use and accessible as opposed to using tape to cover the camera. The covers themselves are a little delicate. One needs to be careful not to touch the adhesive side of the covers and clean the computer surface before installing it. I would recommend using tweezers to place the covers over the cameras and on to the computer's surface. Otherwise, a good buy and very functional.

I gave it four stars because it’s made for a webcam, that’s what it says in the description, and I’m positive it would work perfectly for that purpose. However, I read reviews saying it would work for an iPhone, so that was why I bought it. I returned because it definitely doesn’t work with an iPhone.

Love these for phones and computer security. Easy to install. Doesn't block camera view. BUT the adhesive isn't very strong and doesn't stay on, especially on phones. And it doesn't work with phone cases that come down close to the front facing camera(like the full cases that are waterproof and have a front cover, etc) or that have a screen protector on making it uneven. It needs to be flat on the phone and have plenty of clearance to fit around the camera hole correctly. Works fine on the laptop because of less friction/movement and plenty of room. Phones are in and out of pockets, purses, etc. They definitely need a stronger adhesive if used for phones. Works great only if it stays on though.

I have an iPhone 11 and it’s not ideal if you have a screen protector on your phone, it doesn’t really sit properly and it slips off. Outside of that, I still think the product needs more adhesive or better adhesive. It seems as though even if the screen protector wasn’t on, it would just keep slipping off. On my Mac Pro, it’s fine. However, I probably won’t be purchasing again.

I bought these to cover the camera on my Sony Vaio laptop and my wife’s MacBook Pro & they work great! They’re very thin and don’t infringe on closing the lid. The cover slides smoothly but is firm enough that it won’t slide open without intentionally opening it. And the opening of the webcam cover is big enough that it doesn’t block the camera when it is in the open position. Online security has had to become increasingly important and after my husband routinely went around putting post-it notes over all the computer cameras in the house I decided to buy these instead. First of all, he was VERY impressed at this initiative, two thumbs up for impressing the husband with my tech savvy lol! Second of all, the first time I used my camera after I installed mine I forgot to flip it and couldn't figure out why my camera wouldn't work XDIn all seriousness, I was a little worried because a lot of the pictures show a blue adhesion strip that looks like it might make everything look blue through the camera, this is actually what you pull off when you stick it on your computer. Let me add that these do not work for rear cameras on iPhones, but they do work for androids and for pretty much every other device in your house including smart tvs etc. They work great for front and back cameras and they are so small that once they're on, you really forget all about them. So much so, that you do have to remember to both close them when you're done using you're camera and to open them again when you want to use it.There is also an audio blocking plug that you can get that works for computer audio slots, I don't have any suggestions for brand or anything, but just a suggestion that while you're shoring up security it might be something to type into your search bar.From what I can tell, most of these camera protectors are pretty similar, this one slides freely. I put it on several devices including replacing my husband's post-it note on his computer and they ALL uniformly work smoothly. The adhesive quality has so far been good. They completely cover the camera lens without obscuring any part of it and most of all, they make my whole family feel SO much safer. We trust our computers, we walk around wearing less than we should, honestly, would you want your camera taking random pictures of you? Even if you just had a cold or felt like crap? Those pictures get out there and never go away and people should be more forgiving, but they aren't.I love how thin these are, this being my first experience with these camera covers, I don't know how they compare but I can completely recommend them and they barely cost anything!Imagine the damage NOT buying these could have on your family and you can see why my husband was putting those pesky post-it notes over all the cameras in the house lol! So, just buy the camera cover and make everyone happy, keep everyone safe!

I got these for my laptop and my smart phone (front camera). Love the idea and the pricing isn’t anything to complain about ether.Unfortunately, I’ve went through 4 already within 1 week, so good thing you get 6 at least. The one on my laptop sticks fine and hasn’t had any issues, but the ones on my phone are the ones that have issues.I use a tempered glass screen protector, but I doubt this is an issue. However, my issue stems from the lack of material these are made of. That is, because I use these on my phone, having them in my pocket causes issues... I’ve had the piece that slides back and forth to cover the camera fall off twice from just being in my pocket.Then again, maybe these aren’t meant for things like this, and are instead only intended for devices like laptops, tablets, and any device that won’t have much pressure against the camera covers.

Needed to find a super slim version of these webcam blockers for my devices. I have a few very slim laptops and so other webcam covers have been too bulky, meaning the laptop doesn't close all the way (for sleep mode) and has resulted in me waking up or arriving at a destination with no battery left.I bought these and installed them on multiple devices including tablets. They're been perfect so far. The adhesion is great. Only downfall is that they're not SUPER easy to install. They're easy enough, but because they're so small, it's actually difficult to attach them precisely for people with big fingers like myself. Beggars can't get choosers right?So the only negative is my big fingers made it difficult to line up the slim webcam cover, but the most important part for me was small and slim covers that stick well. That's why I gave it 5 stars.

After cleaning the mounting surface with alcohol, these adhere great. The sliding door works well and has just enough friction to stay open or closed when required. Blends in well on a black background so you have to really remember to double check whether you have left it open or closed
