First Stone Cold Pressed Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil 3 Litre Can (1 PACK)

I was pleased to see that the can was safely packaged against damage during shipping, given its weight. This is my first adventure into olive oil of this quality and I am extremely pleased with the flavor and striking difference from what is available in the supermarket. I decant it into both a spray bottle and a small, crystal decanter, and find the resulting aroma delightful.

First of all, if you're going to cook authentic Italian food from scratch, this oil is essential! The flavor this oil imparts in making a ragu or frying up chicken parm is amazing! You will not be disappointed...

This oil has no dates whatsoever on the cans. I foolishly bought 6 cans to pay $50 instead of $60 per 3L can.I was very disappointed. Filippo Berio Extra Virgin from the local grocery store ($20/3L) tastes about the same (at least it has a use by date). It has very little taste of olives and has a slight peppery finish at the back of the throat. I tried to return them but it is an unreturnable item (oops!). It is likely actually olive oil but may be a blend of older olive oil with somewhat newer (why else the lack of fresh olive taste). A hard but good lesson for me.Comments above are still accurate, but 2 stars is a better assessment than the 1 I had.

This olive oil has a beautiful,full quality flavor to be used on your favorite dishes only. It is most definitely pricey so use it sparingly, unless you have big cash!

This is the best tasting olive oil I've ever; light and pronounced fresh green olive taste.
