My son (5) absolutely LOVES this kit, it was an early Xmas present as I wanted to see if it was worth buying more. Can’t fault it. The blocks have taken a launch or two in an upset moment and they’ve help up really well! Sturdy, good fun, worth the money

Honestly, I was disappointed when I received the package thinking they're smaller than I imagined. 100 blocks and I felt "seen off", especially for the price I paid. In reality, if I saw the box on a shelf in a shop, I would have walked straight past thinking that they're trying to rip me off.However....I suppose size doesn't really matter if they do the job that they're designed for....I'm pretty sure my son will love playing with these as they emulate the Minecraft which he loves. We shall have to wait and see when Christmas comes!

I recently got this set of 150 magnetic building blocks for my child, and it’s been an instant favorite in our house. The Christmas snow theme gives it an extra festive vibe, perfect for the holiday season. My child has already built so many creative structures, and I love seeing their imagination come to life as they create snowy worlds and even pretend play with the scenes they build. The magnets are strong and make building easy for little hands, while also staying together well during play.The variety of shapes and pieces in this set allows for endless possibilities. This is one of the higher quality cube playsets with 8-magnets per 2cm (0.8") cube. Colors are bright and difficult to mar and magnets are strong. This set has Christmas-themed blocks plus some ice and water blocks that I'd rather were floors, doors, ornaments, or even dirt.A ton of brick blocks can be used to build an indoor scene with wreath, bells, and socks hung on the walls, but there are no wood or other floor blocks or doors to complete the scene. I suppose one could just make the table the floor.For outdoor scenes, there's a decent amount of snow on dirt but you'd really need 2-3 times as much of it to have a place to build something out of the brick blocks and still have room for a Christmas tree with all the gifts under it. The ice and water feel unnecessary for Christmas scenes and you'd need to buy multiple sets to do much with them.There aren't enough blocks to complete the setup shown on the main product photo, but at least the box art and some product photos show possible scenes. The second product photo shows how many of each block you get and these counts are accurate.I'm not fan of the giant snowflake blocks since snowflakes aren't that big and they don't look good anywhere, but at least there are only 2 included. The manual shows them being used in the air in a flat-picture scene, and I guess they make sense for that.When combining sets, beware that some sets contain 1" blocks instead of the 2cm blocks in this set, while others contain six magnets per cube (one per face) instead of 8 (one per corner). Personally, I prefer 8 magnet, 2cm blocks because they take up less space, are less expensive, and seem to stick together slightly better. But kids may find the 1" blocks are a better size for using other toy characters with.Each block rattles, which will please young ones. The rattle comes from a magnet near each corner of each cube that can rotate so you can connect any side of any block to adjacent blocks and perfectly align them, or they align on half-block steps as well.Sometimes blocks stick more strongly than other times. I suspect this is because the moving magnets put North poles on one side and South poles on the other, so blocks on the other sides are sticking N/S "sides" of magnets together which is likely a weaker connection. Basically, blocks will stick strongly on the first two opposite sides you connect and more weakly in the other four directions.Each block is plastic outside, formed of a "cup" of plastic with a plastic cap to complete the cube. Colors seem somewhat embedded in the plastic more than printed or stuck on. Whatever the process, it seems durable and is unaffected by light scratching with a fingernail.Overall, the quality of the set makes it worth the price since the magnets used in these blocks are expensive. I deduct 1 star for including water and ice blocks over floors, ornaments, or doors, and for some misleading product photos.

The blocks are super cute and very reminiscent of a "Mine craft block" the mangents click together nicely with a satisfying POP! sound every time. The kid had a great time playing with them as the don't require the strictness of a "Lego" built. 150 blocks were included, giving this a good overall value.

We got this for our daughter with the upcoming Christmas season and she has been absolutely obsessed! These come very well packed and secured with all the correct pieces that it is supposed to have. My one qualm with this is that they are a little smaller than I expected. I did not review how big they were though on the measurements side of it and they are correct with the measurement so it's honestly my bad on that. They are not too small though and she cannot choke on them so I am okay with it! All of these stick together perfectly with no issue and you can build all different types of stuff with it! I definitely think that these are really high quality and nice. You can easily display with them. Very durable and well made! With great attention to detail! He's definitely work as you would expect them to and they're very nice! A solid 10 out of 10 in my book and definitely worth every penny!

This set comes with a lot of pieces for a good price. It's a cute winter/Christmas theme with a little Santa, reindeer, and elf.The little one inch cubes magnetically attach in any direction. This set is the same size and does work with other magnetic cube sets.There aren't enough blocks to make a full 3D version of the set they suggest. You would have to buy 2 sets if you wanted to make a little house or something. Some of the cubes don't seem to stick together as well as others and fall off.
