I honestly wish I had gone one of these sooner. My PC case has USB3 ports but they're Type A and don't provide enough power for things like a mobile harddisk or external cdrom drive, so I'd always be left frustrated wondering if they'd actually work and most of the time I'd fall back to USB 2.0 speeds anyway. It was so annoying, but I really like the case otherwise. This wonderful USB hub solved it. Using the USB-C port from the back of my PC case, the power and connectivity issues are gone. I can quite happily plug two harddisk and a external drive in now without an issue, and there is still a PD port if I did need more power. Best part, I'm now getting full speeds as well. The bracket I've got fits on the tube steel of my desk so it's tucked nicely under and out the way but still easily accessed. Really nice design, a little fiddly to get it to mount flush, but when I did, even just finger tight with the screw it was a solid stable install. A little tweak to tighten it up even more with a screw driver from the back and it's not going anywhere. Plenty of cable on the included USB-C to USB-C/TypeA cable (with adapter). Can't see in the picture, but there is a small blue LED on the right to show it's powered up. Very happy with it, well designed and well worth the price if you're needing something like this.

Game changer - I was fed up with USB leads coming out the back of the PC, falling on the floor and me rolling my chair over them. Got this on a punt, and its excellent. I've clamped it to the front of my desk, insert my usb leads into it and no more cables on the floor or devices perched on top of my desktop PC. Also has two "inputs" - one supplies power only, one supplies power and connects to your PC. Why mention this? I have an iPhone and when I connect it, I get lots of annoying messages, and I only want to charge it and my other devices via this, so I use the power only connector. Simply charges the devices but the PC never tries to connect to them. Even better!

Discrete and functional. I can connect devices to my computer, and charge my laptop, without leaving my seat.

I didn't have any easily accessible USB sockets on my desktop setup and this provided a neat solution as well as providing both types of USB.

Was great when it worked. Wanted a handy card reader on my desk for using with my camera. But the SD card port stopped working after 3 months.

i'v got 3 things to say and number 3 is a big one. 1. USB works grate, 2. SD card reader, Works and give good speed, 3. the 3.5mm AUX (USB Audio) is bad. like super bad. make my not cheep headphones sound like i payed £1 for them... it is that bad. if you need sound as you 3.5 AUX is dead. DO NOT get this...

Clamps to the bottom of my monitor makes it real convenient to stick something in setting here. MacBook detected without any problem.

The audio output needs a upgrade from CD quality, the aux port was also not completely centered and was therefore a really snug fit for the cable. Otherwise the unit seems to be good quality, but unfortunately I wont be testing it anymore and will be returning the product because of the audio quality.

Works well. Using for a transmitter for my mouse. A stand alone mic. For USB drives. Havnt tested data transfer or charging, I do have it plugged into a high powered USB port on my computer. Very useful and stays up off the desk, which sooths my inner OCD. Also looks great.
