Needed a propane tank holder for back of truck!
Got this so it could hold a propane tank. Putting a tank in the back of the truck, even with strapping down, was difficult due to location of tie downs and shape of tank. Thanks to this "milk crate" I can easily strap down the crate and put the tank inside. No moving, adjusting, slipping around. Great, thanks!!

Quality Product and Company
I purchased some of these crates recently directly from the company. Their shipping is very quick and they are as proffessional as you would want and expect them to be. The product is strong and well made as advertised. I wanted some to hold logging chains and other heavy items such as tools,ect. I mounted one to my tractor and it has taken several hits already and doesn't appear to be damaged. I am going to buy more. This is the same or better quality as the milk man has.

Not a good choice for vinyl record storage; otherwise great
Purchased hoping I could fit my collection of vinyl records in it. Manufacturer should publish internal AND external dimensions for these crates - they're of exceptional quality but approximately 1/4" too narrow to allow albums. Major bummer since return freight is more than the cost of the item.On the plus side? I have some "buy it for life" quality dairy crates for my other storage needs.

Looks and feels like a flimsy replica suited for lightweight items only
These items seemed to be a little flimsy in construction. For storing of heavy items like tools,construction materials,you would be better off with a solid metal or wooden box. If you take a close look at the support links,you can see that they are very thin. Might be O.K. for lightweight stuff,but then cardboard boxes would do the same for a lot less money!
