VASAGLE Nightstands, Set of 2, with Hidden Drawers, Solid Wood Legs

These took me a while to put together by myself and the instructions could’ve been a little better but with a little time and some head scratching I was able to figure it out. The quality of the nightstands are incredible for the price! They have a very solid heft to them and the hardware for the drawers is a lot nicer than I expected. The drawers roll very smoothly and click into place when fully closed. The size is exactly as described which was pretty important to me because my bedroom is quite compact and I had very limited space on the sides of my bed. I’d recommend having a buddy help out with the assembly to make things go a little faster but also because once it’s fully put together it can be a little heavy and awkward to carry alone so hopefully you’re not buying for the purposes of moving it around much. As for the functionality, I love the secret drawer, it’s very subtle and those who don’t know about it likely wouldn’t be able to guess it’s there. A good place for those secret personal items! Overall, much nicer than anticipated, 5/5!!

Fairly easy to put together once you figure out the track system. There is no instruction on how to separate them so here is what worked for me from ChatGPT. Step-by-Step Separation Extend the Track: Pull the inner, smaller metal rail out from the larger outer rail until it stops. Locate the Lever: Find the small black plastic lever inside the extended metal rail. Trigger the Release: Push the plastic lever straight down (or up, depending on orientation) and hold it. Pull Apart: While holding the lever, pull the inner rail completely out of the outer track. Mounting the Separated Pieces The Outer Track: Screw this wider piece into the inside wall of the nightstand cabinet body. The Inner Rail: Screw this narrow piece onto the outside side panel of the wooden drawer box. Reassembly: Line up the inner rails with the outer tracks on both sides and push the drawer straight in. You will hear a click when the plastic locks engage automatically. After that they look great and are very sturdy!! I was missing the required amount of screws in bag #14 but had some leftover from not screwing all the little ones on the very back so I used those. They included the needed screwdriver which was a huge plus!!

Ok, first and foremost, upon opening the box, it appeared to be overwhelming and daunting because there were so many parts and pieces. RIght away, after starting to unpack a few pieces, I noticed pieces with chipped edges. I packed everything back up in the box, and contemplated how I was going to tackle this. By the way, the box weighs over 67 pounds. I looked for a number to contact on Amazon, ZERO. It says in the instruction book to "Please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience" -NOPE. See the picture. Do you see any contact info? Two weeks later, I called in a friend. He came over and helped me put these together. I timed it. It tooks us three hours and five minutes. (He is mechanical. I am not.) We each put one table together simultaneously. (We are both over 61 years old.) The instructions are just PICTURES! (See my attached picture of an instruction page!) However, the pictures are step-by-step and semi-easy to follow. Every package and part is labeled. I knew the hinges had to come apart, but the pictures did not quite show how. There is a plastic lever that must be pushed. The part that attaches to the drawer comes off in order to attach it separately. I did bust the top off one of the brass screws for the leg attachment. Other reviews state this happened to them. So, DO NOT PUT MUCH TORQUE ON ANY OF THE SCREWS! If you do, pieces of the laminate will chip off very easily. All in all, it does looks very nice once assembled. I needed a taller bedside table, and this accommodates my needs perfectly. Oh, there is a part that goes on the back to attach it to the wall with a lag bolt. Who attaches a bedside table to the wall? I thought the opening in the back was for cords, NOPE again! I gave it four stars because of the chips, not able to contact, and the strangest instructions.

These look nice, and the price is right. The back piece and a drawer piece are that thin almost cardboard stuff you see on low cost shelving. It does have a lot of pieces to put together. It will take about an hour each. Pay close attention to the holes and sizes on the instructions and you’ll be good. If the drawer doesn’t fit right, you might need to just tighten the screws on the rails more and that little tweak fixes it.

These came in 2’s. They were easy to assemble , I just love them, and the secret drawer!

These nightstands were a huge disappointment. The screws meant to secure the metal drawer slides were too short, and the assembly holes in the metal slides were misaligned, so the drawers wouldn’t stay in place. We spent hours assembling them and got about 90% finished before we realized we couldn’t actually finish them because of this. Customer service told us replacement parts would be sent. A month later, we still never received anything, and all they could tell us was that they were sure the parts were on the way, but they couldn’t provide a tracking number or any information on when they would arrive. Now we have to spend additional hours disassembling almost fully assembled units just to return them for a refund. Very frustrating experience overall. Save yourself the time and hassle. I would not recommend these.

Beautiful. The process top build takes forever so many pieces. I bought another nightstand from another amazon buyer, and the quality and workmanship of this one significantly blow it out the water. Its similar to buying from the furniture store/I defiantly help bring the room together. Happy about this purchase.
