Inadequate quality
Mechanically, the plastic moulded head did not fit satisfactorily creating too much friction between cutter and foil which overloaded the drive. But by salvaging the new foil from the purchased product and refitting it into the original head and reusing the original cutter, my shaver functions properly and has been restored. So the purchase was only partially successful but eventually achieved the purpose.
