They can handle multiple lines up to 8 but need the control unit to work. A Nortel phone, that will work on its own and accommodate 2 lines, would be the model 9417 or 9417CW. This phone was also manufactured by Aastra. We do not sell it. **Q: Do these phones bring the cords and buttons?** A: The phone comes with a cord for the handset and has all of the buttons. **Q: Are these phones compatible with analog cable sockets? Our office currently uses Nortel, the model is T7208.** A: no they are not you need a nortel system. **Q: Can i use this phone model for home use. are there any other device need to work for home phone.** A: I believe it is part of a Meridian Norstar Phone System.
