I know a little bit about lighting, granted not as him. I figured this would help get him started with what he wants to do with them. He opened it and he loved it, he told me they were prefect and this was a prefect gift. I was expecting to get 85 watts bulbs, but they were 60 or 65 watts. He told me that brighter isn't always better, it's how the light reflects off of the umbrellas.Since he wasn't sweating over it I wasn't going too. I also mainly brought these just for the stands and umbrellas anyhow. He uses the lights quite a bit though, not a daily bases but whenever he has free times and or has a photo shoot.
