The medium fits me fine, but some people might do better with the small size. Review: Don't Waste Your Money - I was looking forward to using this chin strap. When it arrived, I was slightly surprised by how cheaply made it was. The holes around the ears and chin did NOT have an edging hem, leaving the edges raw and open to eventual fraying. I gently pulled the material to test the durability of the three holes. It was clear to see how easy it would be for the material to rip and mess up. Even more concerning was the fact that part of the velcro was detachable and bulky when in use. Unfortunately, it caught on my hair and I had to have help extracting it without having to have my hair cut. The worst part of the chin strap was the fact that it had the opposite effect from what it was created for. Instead of holding my mouth in place, it pulled my chin hard enough that it caused my mouth to open instead of keeping it closed. So, I got what I paid for: something that wasn't worth the money I spent on it.
