A really cute, sturdy helmet. There are lots of designs, but I chose the dinosaur for my young nephew, as he’s a huge dinosaur fan, as so many kids are at that age. It arrived today whilst he was here, and he absolutely loved it—we got the ‘dance-on-the-spot’ reaction! Not only is that a such a great reaction, but if he loves it, then to me that’s always the first hurdle of getting them to wear any safety gear.It’s a really great looking helmet with a sturdy ABS outer and two layers of inner padding, I really like that this helmet comes with two sets of pads in different thicknesses, which you can use separately or combine, to give you that extra bit of flexibility in size. The shaped soft foam pad is also removable, so you can hand-wash it. The cutouts travel through all of the layers, and there’s a good amount of them, to keep it cool in use. The polyester strapping is all sturdy and feels well stitched, and all of the clips and rings feel solid. It has a lot of adjustment for size as well, which is good.At the back is a dial that you can twist to adjust the diameter of the inner helmet so you can get it nice and snug, and it does adjust quite a lot. I ordered the Small for my five-year-old nephew, and as an indicator it dials in to fit him well, but is also capable of dialling out far enough to practically fit me. There are two sizes of this helmet, so be sure to check and order accordingly.This particular helmet is made for the US market, so has been tested to comply to US bicycle helmets standard (Extended head coverage– US standard CPSC 1203 & ASTM 1447 verified. It seems very similar to our own CE standard in terms of requirements, but if you want to compare, it’s easy enough to put the name of the US standard into your search engine, then open a second with the UK (EN-1078/ CE EN 1078 / European Cycling Standard) helmet standards, and get all the data to measure them side by side.In all this feels like a reliable helmet, and the wide choice of designs mean there’s one to appeal to everybody. To me, this is a great helmet for the price.

I got this helmet for my son, and it's been great!The design is super fun, with a dinosaur theme that he loves. It's lightweight, making it comfortable for him to wear, and the padding inside is soft, ensuring a snug fit without being too bulky.I really appreciate the extra padding included, as it allowed me to adjust the helmet for the best fit. The dial at the back is easy to use, and I can adjust it to suit his head size, which is handy as he grows.The helmet feels sturdy and well-made, with good ventilation to keep him cool while he rides his bike or scooter. Plus, the chin strap is adjustable, making it secure but comfortable.I’m really happy with this helmet, and I would definitely recommend it. It’s a great mix of safety and style.How I rate the products:5 stars: As advertised, works as expected, nice packaging.4 stars: Not quite as expected, possibly misleading in description or issue with packaging.3 stars: Average product, works okay but nothing special.2 stars: A cheap or untrustworthy product, not expecting it to last long.1 star: Came broken or unusable.

I speak here as a father of four sons all of whom went through the whole gamut of head bouncing pastimes.Skates & skateboards, go karts, bikes scooters, even those weird scooters that thought they were skates, you name it, they fell off it or crashed it.Kids seem to have two positions when it comes to wearing helmets for the first time, they either love them so much it's hard to get it off at bedtime or they hate them so much you could be forgiven for thinking you'd asked them to put a burning hat on, I've seldom seen plain indifference to them.For those who respond in the burning hat mode the struggle can be made easier with a design that attracts them, astronauts, cowboys, dinosaurs, ponies and of course as in this case unicorns are all popular themes and letting your kids pick out their own helmet from a range of such designs generally helps to avoid all the conflict.The downside is that all too often the "cute" helmets can put design before function and many of the features we'd want to see are absent.This helmet isn't like that, in every way it's much like an adult helmet scaled down so it has a full set of hook & loop secured internal pads in two sizes, a proper harness that's fully adjustable both under the chin and at the back so it fits securely and is positioned correctly on the head.The inner shell has the ABS moulded harness fittings into which the harness is secured with steel pins a,d plenty of vents to allow air to circulate ensuring your little ones don't get too hot, a problem I've seen a couple of times with other helmets that had insufficient air space.It comes with a full set of directions on how to position and adjust everything so your child gets the maximum protection and comfort from their helmet.Of course none of this matters if the designs aren't attractive to kids.This helmet is available in seven nice designs, each one is essentially the same helmet the only difference is the design on the outer shell. There may be other designs in the range but I've not yet seen them.All in all I'm impressed with it.It's not the cheapest helmet out there, but the fact it there's not much more than a few ounces of materials difference between the child helmet and an adult one so it's hardly surprising a decent child's helmet that's going to do the job isn't going to be significant;y lower in price than an adult one.Well worth the cost to look after your child.

5 stars for the helmet :)It came packed well and it blew us away with the lovely and cool designs! We went for the rocket design and its great, the colours are also chosen well and the finish is nice and shiny.The helmet is well designed, constructed and made with good quality materials.It's very light, which is good and padded inside however is was delivered with two sets of pads in different thicknesses (4 and 7 mm). You can use them individually or combine them for an optimal and comfortable fit on the head,The padded are made of soft material and feel nice.It's very comfortable according to my son and in terms of the size, it fits us well.I really like it and would recommend it to anyone.
