One of my favorite games just got even more great!
My package for the game arrived about 2 days after launch but eventually came but it won't affect my rating for the game (obviously as seen by the 5 stars). I got the premium edition which I was surprised at first by the size but it's small stature was perfect to put on a shelf by the tv! The other products included were a sleep plushie which is very soft, an artbook, the game with a steel case (which look like it had a factory defect on its spine making it slightly pushed in), and a CD of some music from the game which I really like since my OG version of Catherine for the ps3 also came with a music CD.The game though feels just as fun and great to play as it did when I first played Catherine on the ps3 and I really like the added little changes they've made for quality of life with the game (actually seeing all the options for text responses when using the phone instead of cycling through them by erasing and seeing the next one, the techniques learned in the nightmares being available at the save points on landings to read again in case you forgot how to do one being two that spring to mind). All the characters on display are interesting and complex as before and now included in the game are little cutscenes that shed further light on certain character's pasts which is really nice to see. There is new dialogue as well to highlight the new route girl Rin which really fits into the game pretty well and seamless without shoehorning her in and really feels like she could have been there in the original release; I was concerned about a new addition of a new route but I'm happy to report Rin feels fresh with the narrative and energizes the story nicely. I've read as well that they've toned down/rewrote some dialogue around Erica's character to better fit in with the times regarding trans individuals but some do still slide through but the portion I've played has been very good and even progressive with a conversation the characters have regarding same-sex partnerships not in the original release. It really shows how far we've come in terms of social issues like that since 2011 which might not feel that far away, but things have certainly changed since then. Really nice inclusion that I enjoy. If you're a fan of slice of life style games mixed in with really good puzzle-platforming gameplay (there is a new mode 'Remix' which refreshes the main story stages to include new block types for an added challenge) then I couldn't recommend the game more. If you aren't a big puzzle fan then don't worry! The easy and safety modes are for you to enjoy the story as safety I believe cuts out the puzzle segments for you to enjoy only the story and easy's timelimit on blocks falling is very generous and the bosses after stages don't do their attacks to hamper you on your climb.

Amazing revisit to a classic puzzler
I played the original on the Xbox 360 when it first came out in 2011 8 years ago, and what can I say besides Catherine: Full Body is already on my top 10 releases of 2019! This game changes some things but retains the same general plot: our hero, the ever indecisive Vincent Brooks, is in hot water with his girlfriend as she denounces his carefree lifestyle and reckless spending habits. He then finds himself in a precarious situation when he is suddenly approached by a mysterious blonde beauty. Full Body introduces a new love interest, turning this former love triangle into the game's tagline: "a love square." There are new scenes, more Rapunzel, some remixed music (namely the opening theme Yo), some Persona songs available in the jukebox at the pizza tavern called the Stray Sheep, a new game mode that gives us HUGE combination blocks, and, in an effort to not spoil anything, many more surprises lying in wait. I highly recommend this as the game to play whether you've been on the fence or a seasoned veteran of the original Catherine. One thing I would like to make aware based on some community feedback stemming from the hype. Catherine: Full Body is first and foremost a puzzle game. Those who have played the Persona series will not find the same style of gameplay from those RPGs, however, I will say that the writing is on point and still very entertaining. I played the normal remix version of this game and, while it had difficulty spikes, I found it to be just the right amount of difficulty that I never found myself stuck on a puzzle. The Heart's Desire premium edition comes with the game disc in a steelbook case, an artbook, select music printed on a CD, and an adorable sheep plushie that just screamed BUY ME! Fair warning: the steelbook does not have a slipcase like the normal launch edition. I don't really mind since I think it still looks amazing but it's something to keep in mind for the collector.Play video games all night long!

Great game for newcomers and existing fans
I originally bought this game back in 2011 or so when it came out, and the full body version is better than ever. The story is extremely entertaining and the gameplay is fun and addicting. It’s worth buying as it’s not simply just a remaster, it has a LOT more content than the original. For there’s additional cutscenes, characters, modes, levels, music, etc. The collectors edition is also pretty cool, I enjoy having the music CD as the game has a great sound track, and the stuffed sheep and art book are nice bonuses as well. Overall I have nothing to complain about and I recommend the game to everyone.

A Sexy Return to A Sultry and Awesome Game
Catherine was one of the few games that hit with its gameplay, narrative, and visuals. And Catherine: Full Body isn't just a remaster - it's a bit of a redux in a really cool way. Featuring a 3rd romantic partner in Rin, the game expands on the core narrative of the original game, offering more to the experience. The game is indeed excellent, but let me talk about the "Heart's Desire" Premium Edition. The box is designed to be one of the blocks from the game, and inside it include a small Sheep plush, a small artbook, and a soundtrack. It may not be as packed as the collector's edition of the original game, but it is certainly a fantastic collector's edition to pick up, especially if you never played the original game. If you loved Catherine when it released on PS3/Xbox 360, you'll definitely enjoy Full Body, adding more to in every sense of the word! If you missed out on the original game, play Full Body and enjoy...it's really good. ;)

Game of the Year.
One of the best games I’ve ever played in my entire life. Amazing story, characters, acting, soundtrack, design, entertainment value, replay value and extras. THIS is how you do a remake. Different but same as Mr. Miyagi would say. Keeps everything we love about the original game but adds a ton of new stuff to fall in love with. Rin is so adorable and fun! Great addition to the game. 10/10, game of the year.
