## Description

The Bosch BT300 offers extendable height adjustments from 47 inches to 110 inches for different height applications. Review: For professional contractors or handymen - I went in search of a tripod for a laser level that I use in contracting services. I did lots of research and chose this one based on two things: 1. The other option in this price range (from PLS) had reviews that indicated the device would wobble at full Extention. 2. I use the Bosch Gravity Rise saw stands and they are SOLID. (Way better and more durable than the dewalt ones I had before). Even with the past positive experiences with Bosch, when I paid $130 for this I expected it to be fairly flimsy. I chose to accept that this might be the case due to the price point I wanted to stick to: under $150. When I got it though, this thing shocked me! I could immediately tell that this thing was just as sturdy as my saw stands. So, I put it to the test. I brought it to a job site where I’m building a second floor deck. I had it nearly fully extended and my laser level was still able to get to a still level point even on a windy day. UPDATE 12/27/2018: still solid. Works well. Windy days can be a pain when fully extended, but it still functions enough even then.
Review: Very robust I was surprised quite sturdy - I was very happy to see how well it was built it holds my laser quite well the height adjustment works as advertised I was concerned about the height for the lowest setting if you spread the legs you can get it down to about 30 inches off the floor very happy with this product I purchased it for my M12 Milwaukee laser which fits wonderfully it also works for my LL 500 can't say enough good things about this product little spendy but worth the money

**Q: What is the extension column? do i need to assemble it every time i want to reach 110 inches? or do i simply just extend the legs and crank it up?**

**Q: Anyone aware of the a Pan/Tilt Head that uses this 5/8-11 mounting screw?**
A: No.  But adapters are available.

**Q: To what elevation will this tripod reach?**
A: I placed the leg points on a circle that had a 22" radius and got these results. Measuring up from the center of that circle to the top of the mounting plate on the tripod, maximum extension was 9'-6" and minimum retraction was 3'-6". These results are most likely +or- 1".

The first one of these came with a shipment damaged leg and the hand crank mechanism would jam when trying to adjust the elevating post up. I returned that one as a damaged item. The jaming elevating feature however, would not have been caused by the shiping damage. The replacement tripod came and seems to work really well. The hand crank elevating feature works without binding or jaming and this elevating feature makes it really easy to set up your laser and home in on a previous bench mark. If you get a good one of these I'm sure you will like it.
