HORACE Patchouli & Cedar Beard Oil for Men, 30 ml

I bought this for my partner, so this review is a mix of what I've noticed and his feedback after using it. Scent: This is the standout feature. The Rose Oud fragrance smells incredibly premium, rich, warm and masculine, with just enough rose to keep it fresh without being overly floral. I genuinely find myself complimenting him whenever he wears it. Performance: According to him, it absorbs quickly without feeling greasy and leaves his beard feeling much softer and easier to manage throughout the day. Quality: His beard looks healthier, feels smoother, and the skin underneath seems much less dry. So effective for now but let's see how he gets on after a month of use. A little goes a long way, so the bottle should last a while. Value for money: it's a little more expensive than some beard oils, but the quality and scent make it feel worth the price. Overall, this has become one of his favourite beard oils, and from my perspective, it's one of the best-smelling ones too. If you're buying it for yourself or for your partner, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Love this. Feels nice and non greasy when applying a little goes a long way. no nasty underlying fatty smell. And the fragrance is strong and lasts. smells gorgeous. Will definitely buy this brand again.

Amazing product indeed. One who has spent several thousands of £ in the last few years on skin & beard care products, this by far is one if the best beard oils i have used. Most importantly the scent of the rose oud, wow! I urge the sellers/company to release an EDP fragrance of this exact same scent which would complete the collection.

I absolutely love the smell of this oil. I constantly get compliments on it and it just smells fresh. I don't have the biggest beard in the world but I do have enough hair for this to pass through. It doesn't cover me spots, leaves my beard smelling great and genuinely feels nice as a routine. I really highly rated everything from horace actually.

Really quite poor quality oil. Did not soften my beard and upset my skin. Seems to have a lot of colour to it which looks very artificial. No citrus or mint scent to it, barely any scent at all to be honest. I can't recommend this for anyone with even slightly sensitive skin. Go for something more "natural".

I normally use the same small indie brand for my beard oil and products but recently the quality has been dipping so I thought I would give something else a go. I picked this as the price point wasn't much different from what I was used too, and it had quite good reviews The smell is great. I really like it. I got the tobacco and vanilla smell - it does not smell like the tom ford equivalent (and it doesn't claim too) but it does smell good. The oil is a yellow colour. That's a bit off putting but you only really see it when putting some in your hands as the bottle is not transparent. It is oily as mentioned in other reviews - but it is an oil so it's supposed to be? I don't think I'd say it's anymore greasy than what I'm used too. The applicator is great, I'm used to free pouring bottles and I always end up using way to much, this makes it harder to do that. Beard oil is mostly for your skin rather than the hair. I also use it as a heat protectant before using my heated brush. I would buy this again

Cette huile à barbe Horace est une excellente découverte. Elle a une texture légère, ne graisse pas et laisse la barbe douce, disciplinée et bien hydratée. Le parfum citron & menthe est vraiment agréable : frais, tonique, mais pas trop fort. Quelques gouttes suffisent, donc le flacon dure longtemps. Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour un soin naturel et efficace.

Nice sent

One of those scented oils that you can’t really smell until it warms and blends into the skin. Smell is not too overconcentrated at all. Highly addicting smell and his beard feels great on me. He also loves the smell so it’s a win win.

Cette huile nourrit et adoucit vraiment les poils sans laisser de sensation grasse. Elle laisse un parfum frais et agréable tout au long de la journée. Les produits Horace sont de très bonne qualité dans leur globalité!

Cette huile pour barbe est agréable à utiliser au quotidien. Le parfum patchouli et cèdre est bien présent, avec une odeur boisée et masculine sans être trop forte. Elle aide à adoucir la barbe et à hydrater la peau en dessous. Je retire une étoile car le parfum est un peu trop fort tout de même, mais le produit reste de très bonne qualité.
