I've always had Windows desktops but decided to switch over to an iMac, Wow! what a beautiful piece of tech. Fast, responsive and a gorgeous screen. Still getting used to things, but catching on quicker than I thought. Very intuitive setup. So glad I purchased this.

A much needed improvement from my past Mac. The previous Apple computer I had was an Intel-chip Mac from about 11 years ago. Purchasing this was such a jump in speed and quality, as expected. I am not one of those that has everything Apple; in fact, this is the only Apple product in our house at the moment. Because of this, features like AirDrop and some other things that basically require you to be in the "Apple ecosystem" are of very little use (to me). But that's not too big a deal. The screen is a really nice size (bigger than my old model) and the colors are always so vibrant on Macs. The sound quality is great as well. Everything runs really smoothly so far, but I haven't run super demanding programs (like CAD) much as of yet. I helped set up a friend's and I believe their's only had 2 USB-C ports. The model I purchased has 4 ports. I don't think 2 would be enough for my needs - I'm really happy with the 4. I also like that the model I got has the Ethernet port right on the power brick. The model my friend bought didn't have the ethernet port, so they had to buy a USB-C ethernet adapter. Even though I have a Windows PC and a Pixel phone, this iMac works really well for me despite not experiencing the full-compatibility one would have if they had all Apple products (iPhone, Macbook, etc.).

I bought this iMac because my art studio is basically a converted laundry room that’s only about 73” x 68”. Space is limited, so I needed something that didn’t require a tower, extra monitors, or enough cables to lasso a small horse. Since buying it, I’ve been transferring an entire website, which means I regularly have two websites open at the same time, Canva running, AI open, images uploading and downloading, multiple browser windows, and enough tabs open to make most people uncomfortable. The crazy thing is that it doesn’t seem to care. No freezing. No lag. No spinning beach ball of doom. It just keeps going. I can bounce between Canva, website editing, image folders, AI, email, and whatever other project I’ve decided to create for myself without it missing a beat. At one point I actually stopped and thought, “Wait… shouldn’t this be struggling by now?” Nope. What surprised me even more is that it can run World of Warcraft just fine. I’m not buying an iMac as a gaming computer, but it’s nice knowing that when I want to take a break and wander around Azeroth for a bit, it handles it without any drama. Full disclosure: I’m Alliance. If you’re Horde, we can disagree about factions while still agreeing that this is a solid computer. One thing I didn’t expect to love as much as I do is how easy it is to move. Since everything is built into one unit, I can unplug it, carry it to another room, plug it back in, and keep working. Whether I want to work in my studio, at the kitchen table, or out on the screened porch, all I need is an outlet. Try doing that with a traditional desktop setup without feeling like you’re relocating a small business. I should probably admit that I’m biased. Our family uses Apple products almost exclusively. We have iPhones, iPads, and just about everything else Apple makes. That said, I’ve been using Apple products for years and haven’t had one fail me yet, which is a big reason I keep buying them. The best compliment I can give this computer is that I don’t think about it. It just works. Instead of fighting with my computer, I spend my time fighting with website layouts, pegboards, storage solutions, and whatever other project I’ve convinced myself will only take twenty minutes and somehow turns into three hours. So far, this has been one of those rare purchases that actually lives up to my expectations.

Apple still has the best all-in-one desktops. I’m not an Apple fanatic, I’m just stating my most non-bias opinion. The size is great, the speed is great. My only complaint would be where they set the usb charge port on the mouse, but that has nothing to do with the computer itself.

Love my new computer and the color, it works great, although I wish word publisher were still available for the Mac's. I don't like that you now need to have a subscription to different programs now instead of owning them out right.

I loved my old iMac which had an elegant 27" screen. That suddenly got extremely slow after Christmas. I bought the new iMac with 24" screen. It is much lighter but is not that elegant looking. There is no Apple icon in front. It was easy to set up. There are some new things it comes with, I am still getting used to all the automatic messages which appear on the screen. With the new iMac, the old printer did not work, I had to buy a new printer too. Hopefully, I am set up for the next 10 years.
