what is the best before date now? writing this in may 2016...

Ok, let me try again, *sigh*: Since this special offer has been online for a year and the packages had a best before date in 2015, I am asking if any of you have received a shipment by the same company with a best before date in, say, late 2016. I want to find out, BEFORE I place an order, as I do not wish to buy stale Twiglets. I am not currently holding any of the packages, therefore it is obviously difficult to read a date on a package, So I would be grateful for helpful answers.
