Safe, waterproof extension power lead
I like that this extension and it's waterproof socket will not get saturated when used with my Karcher pressure washer. The cable itself is nice and chunky, so should last well.

Shame about the cover
This is a great extension cable if your plug fits in the correct direction, anything large or with the cabling the opposite direction cannot be plugged in thus this is useless even if the cover was removed still no use.

Can be used for EV charging, if you remove one seal.
There are two black rubber seals on the socket, designed to keep out water when the cover is closed. Unfortunately these are too inflexible to allow the cover to be closed on thick wires, such as those used for Tesla charging cables.The good news is that you can pull out one seal from the yellow cover using pliers (the black block of rubber, not an aquatic mammal). This allows the cover to close, while still being fairly rainproof.The thick cable is good enough for the high current needed for EV charging and the frame is handy for quickly storing the cable.
