Its IP67-rated stainless steel construction ensures durability against water and dust, while a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and included carrying case make it the ultimate precision tool for managers and makers who demand reliability and smart functionality. ## Description Remember when you had maximum precision in your measurements? Get the accuracy you need with the WEN Digital Dial Caliper. The WEN calipers are designed to handle four different methods of measurement, including inner, outer, step, and depth measurements. The large LED digital readout provides users with accurate and easy-to-see readings in either metric, imperial or fractional units with a resolution of 0.0005 inches, 0.01 millimeters, or 1/128 inches. These calipers also feature smart functionality, including the ability to switch between digital and dial displays, a tolerance checking function, an incremental measurement function, and measurement lock feature – perfect for quick repeat measurements or quality assurance processes. The IP67 rating means that your calipers can handle submersion in up to 1 meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. This package includes a built-in rechargeable battery and charger cord, as well as a sturdy carrying case for safely storing and transporting your caliper. And, because it’s a WEN product, your digital caliper comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, and a friendly customer helpline, all to make sure you remember WEN. Review: Works. Fun to have. Heavy due to battery. - Works. Who would have thought of a digital dial... that's rechargeable. Review: When I use my calipers I feel like I'm in a race car - First let me give you a disclaimer that I automatically applaud sellers and manufacturers when they do something different. When it comes to a lot of the same type of stuff being available from other countries, usually from the same country, and they all seem to use the same materials, even the same listing photos, it gets really old. When I see a company that doesn't do that, I automatically applaud them so just keep that in mind that I may be a little bit biased but I don't think so For starters this has a unique interface that alone I like. It's got instructions that are carefully thought out and well made and they're full page. I'm talking full page illustrations and clear and concise instructions... a full letter page. That's amazing in this day and age. That's like unthinkable. It's like living in a fantasy land or something. In fact these instructions are so clear and concise that it actually explained two functions that I've always wondered about from my other calipers I've had in the past. This actually explained instructions in a way that actually not only told me how to use it but also what the entire function is designed for. I'm not gonna bother you with what I'm talking about, besides it somewhat embarrassing on my part, but that's how clear and concise these instructions are The only reason I am taking away a star (and believe me I really don't want to) is that the rechargeable screen is very heavy. It makes the calipers feel very heavy even though they're not heavy in the grand scheme of things. It's just a heavy instrument and it's very front-heavy or top-heavy or however you want to call it. That's only worth maybe a half a star. The other half a star I'm taking away is because of the little roller that you use to roll the distance up and down or back and forth or shorter or farther apart. It's very loose. Now there's no worry about it coming off but it feels so loose that it makes me kind of wish that I could fix it. I have a real janky terrible pair of calipers that are just as ghetto as can be but that little roller is super smooth compared to this one. The good thing about this though is more of a feature than a flaw: the dial spins freely until you push down on it and then it grips and that's how you give or take away distance. You can check my video to understand what I'm saying another thing is these calipers don't come on automatically when you open or close them. You have to turn the display on first but again that's also a feature. It's not going to run down your battery. I got used to my other ones that were so janky and ghetto that would never save battery at all. It would sit in my drawer and die even if not used. Over the course of a month it would probably die and it wasn't rechargeable. It had the same stupid screen that all the other knockoff versions have from the same country, in the same manufacturer, or at least the same warehouses, probably just with a different name stamped on it. I can tell that I'm using a quality piece of a quality instrument now. It definitely feels like it's a quality tool and I like that so it was difficult for me to even take one star away. Considering those two issues I feel are worthy of about a half a star each, I think four stars is pretty fair. Although I'm gonna strongly recommend this as if it's a five-star product, I just wanted to make sure I was being fair. Oh yeah and you can see in my video that the calipers are very sensitive, very accurate, and pretty cool looking. It feels like a race car ## Features - Switch between two unique interfaces, including a standard digital caliper readout as well as a fully animated dial indicator face with 0.0005 in. resolution - Switch between SAE (inches), metric (millimeters), and SAE fractional units - Four different methods of measurement including inner, outer, step and depth - Multiple smart functions allow users to check tolerances, lock readings, set incremental measurements, and more - Includes a large digital LED readout, IP67-rated water-and dust resistant stainless-steel construction, a sturdy carrying case, a rechargeable battery, a charging cord, and a two-year warranty ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DKK3BC3V | | Best Sellers Rank | #19,011 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #30 in Digital Calipers | | Brand | WEN | | Brand Name | WEN | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 6 Reviews | | Included Components | LED readout, a sturdy carrying case, a rechargeable battery, and a charging cord | | Manufacturer | WEN | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Measurement Accuracy | 0.0005 | | Model | 10767D | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required.
