The plant has no leave and is dry. Tried the fertilizer and this soil to give it life, but nothing yet. That is the only reason it has a three star.

I have always been somewhat dubious of specialized plant foods and soil mixes. I usually make my own potting mix and feed my plants a rotating diet of all purpose plant food, fish emulsion, and vitamins, on which they do quite well.Recently, however, my 25 year old Monstera was not doing well and I got it some specialty Mpnstera food. Within three weeks after starting the feedings, my Monstera looked healthier, grew half a dozen new leaves and two new shoots grew up from the roots. Thinking that there might be something to this specialty stuff after all, I decided to get this special soil to pot up those Monstera shoots. I intended to do it this weekend, but the shoots don't look as strong as I would like. The Monstera enjoys a south facing window and I would like the babies to get a few more weeks of that exposure before I uproot them, probably around Thanksgiving. So check back after Turkey Day for an update. Until then, I have high hopes that this Monstera soil will get my little green babies off to a good start.

This worked well with the kids planting this summer. It works as expected. eVerything went well.

These are made from hard plastic and the edges are sharp which cut into the plants cutting off stems. Terrible product and company does not respond for return.
