Exceeded expectations very smart looking light easy to fit

Easy to install and good quality

I swapped out a cheap old "rustic" lantern which had given up the ghost for this really rather smart, modern looking unit. It's one of those where you can't replace the bulb - when the unit fails you have to replace the whole thing - but if it gives me between 5 and 10 years of motion activated night time lighting I'll be happy with the value.Installation was easy, particularly as I was swapping out and had existing wiring in place; the water ingress protection is perfectly adequate at the junction box as long as you install that box the right way up. If you're unsure (don't mess around with electricity unless you know what you're doing), get someone competent in to do it.The light level is adjustable and you can set it for different methods of activation, but I simply couldn't work out how the pictograms in the leaflet matched what I was seeing and doing as I pressed the settings button. Four days after installation I'm still not sure what it's doing. I know that in the end I'll find the magic combination but it's frustrating nonetheless; it's such a little thing which needs doing a whole lot better.So a five star product loses one star for that; a shame. I like it.

They were a little smaller than I expected but quality was good for the money and the visual effect is efficient and pleasing.

It's a lot smaller than I thought but it's neat and modern looking. Changed our front door so wanted to change the light too. Fitting wasn't a problem just make sure to align the base straight to attach the light. My wife is happy with it so that's the main thing.

Construction is a bit cheap but it was right size, shape and features for a shed project. Looks good fitted. LED is a bit cold colourwise but right level of brightness to illuminate the door of my shed.

Fitting it was simple. They give you everything that's needed. Two medium sized screws with wall plugs is about all it needs though! It's a light light so doesn't require anything industrial to hold it up.Inside there's a chocblock style connector (not the spring options), a rubber gasket and a rubber cable seal to keep the environment out. All very basic stuff.In use, it really needs to be setup at night so that you can see what the differences are between the modes. It's a bit unintuitive to know which mode you are on because you just have one button and that's it. No feedback. I had to wait until dark and then I worked out which was mode 3 that gave 50% brightness at night, switching to 100% when the PIR is triggered. It looks good and isn't bright enough to burn the eyes out of some poor soul approaching. I've found that the PIR is triggering about 2-3 meters away which is a bit disappointing. Also, there's no means of adjusting the timing. These two issues mean that I think it's a little over priced (£45 at this time). It's ok but it isn't 'the ultimate wall lighting experience' as they quote.
