Review: Awesome & Fun! - We wanted a pool that was big enough that a few people could get in and be comfortable, but not so big that we needed to use chemicals or items to clean. I live in Texas and the heat is just rude! It's only June and the temp has not been below 90 for 2 weeks now. I ran across this pool and kept it in my faves for a while, and ordered it about 2 weeks ago. SO glad we got it!! At first, we put the pool on our grass in the back yard. We had to use our shop vac as the air compressor hose is too small to fit the large holes where you blow it up, We kept the pool up in that place for about a week. Reason being - we have a Bulldog who loves to swim. She has her own pool but she doesn't care where she gets n the water, just as long as she can get wet - so we decided to try it on or patio. We swept the patio and put the pool up there and it is even better then the yard, even with concrete floor. My husband and I get in it every day. There's enough room for both of us to stretch out, have our head on one side and our feet the other. There's also enough room for us to inflate a chair float, if we want to use that. We don't do any kind of jumping around as we are in our late 40's - 50, but we do have 2 grandchildren who, our 4 year old granddaughter LOVES to play in it! Even with us getting in it every day, the water has remained clean, with the exception of a few leaves and some grass , but that stuff is easily removed. But we do change the water out completely every 2 weeks. Here in Texas, it's s hot that the water is usually very hot when we get in it, so we dump a little water and add a bit to make it comfortable. We were outside a few days ago and it was over 100 degrees, and we were watering our garden, when we heard a big splash. We turned around to see our 88 pound Bulldog swimming in our pool. I freaked out because this pool is Vinyl after all, but she didn't cause any damage whatsoever to the pool! She jumped in and out of that pool at least 15 times, and still no damage. I wouldn't recommend letting your dog in this pool, and we've been teaching her "No", but we were both surprised she didn't ruin the pool! We did purchase the cover for this pool so we wouldn't have to clean it so much, and it works just fine. There is a way to put the cover on the pool so it doesn't get blown off by high winds, and so far we haven't had any problems with it at all. We put our chair float in the middle, put the cover on and it all stays put until we're ready to use it. All in all, I feel this pool is definitely worth the $40 I paid for it . I would purchase this pool again if anything happens to ours, which I'm sure something will as it IS Vinyl! It's not a high cost above ground metal pool, so we don't expect it to last forever. This pool may be vinyl, but it is very strong. If you take proper care of it, it will last you a while. But it is doing it's job beautifully and we are very happy with it! Just know that if you have kids that'll be using this pool - if they play with toys in it - the toys may rip or tear the vinyl, or they may ruin it by excessive jumping .
Review: Two seasons in so far, recommend it. - I purchased this in mid/late summer 2019 for use in the Northeast and given today's situation I'm really glad I did! It was around twenty-one dollars last year, today it's double, which isn't as bad as it got earlier this summer. We thankfully didn't have any issues with it last year and it's still good this year. I also purchased the Intex brand plug in air pump which I would recommend. More recently I bought an airbed with a cordless air pump which is great for adding air to this pool. We don't have a very level yard so it's done okay on bumpy ground. We usually put a tarp under it for added protection against rocks and sticks and so far so good. Using a wider tarp allows for covering the pool w/the same tarp when you're not using it. At the end of last summer I let it dry off, folded it up and stored it away in the basement. Other than some residual pink staining on the white parts the pool was still great for this summer. It lives outside, inflated, though we empty out the water after a couple days of use b/c it gets murky. It has survived all kinds of weather this summer. It loses a bit of air between uses but that seems the norm for any sort of plastic inflatable. We don't fill it to the top, mostly b/c of our sloped yard so I can't attest to potential overfilling. But it has survived bouncing on the sides (not supposed to do that...) and having a Step 2 slide over the side so the kids can slide into the pool. As for size, it's small but it's not a tiny kiddie pool and it's big enough for two younger kids to play in or try to float in. On a hot day, it serves it's purpose and keeps the kids entertained. Given the above, I would recommend this pool even for the current $40 something price.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: approximately how many gallons of water does it hold?**
A: Approx. 300 gallons. We fill close to full for our 3 year old grandson but he wears lifevesr. I add one small Dixie cup chlorine about every 3-4 days and keep basin or bucket of water next to pool to dip feet in before getting in (Helps keep grass out) and to keep from changing water too often. Hope this helps!

**Q: birth**
A: Intex 10' x 30" Easy Set Above Ground Inflatable Swimming Pool | 28120E https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MBUOOO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_8LTXzbD0H95CK...... This would be my choice for water birth. Same brand, Intex makes affordable yet strudel stuff. This one is deeper and would integrate better with a heat source.

**Q: What gauge vinyl is used in this pool? Some smaller pools are only 13 gauge. Is this one 16 gauge?**
A: 15 gauge. Very sturdy and heavy. I put a tarp under it for added protection on the bottom side.

**Q: What type of pump is necessary for inflation? How easy is it to set-up?**
A: Super easy to set up. Just put a little h2o In bottom and move pool around till h2o settles in middle then you know it's level. As for inflating, I bought an electric pump that has several size caps, then you can inflate pool, floats, etc. don't remember where I got pump, but it was inexpensive.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Backyard Summer Retreat
*by M***N on July 8, 2014*

Despite what I read about buyers having issues with this pool maintaining inflation, I purchased with an impending heat wave on the way. Upon delivery, the pool was nicely packed in the box and appeared to be in great condition. Immediately, I took it to the backyard and laid it out on a flat concrete slab. Using an electric air pump (which does not come with the pool), I was able to get each air compartment filled under 5 minutes, easily. Just with any inflatable item, you need to act quick to close up the fill port. As I type this, I have inflated the pool on a Friday and it remains well filled here on a Tuesday evening. Needless to say, I have not experienced any leaks nor an absurd amount of deflation. Of course, with time, the pool will become slightly deflated - this is to be expected. All-in-all, the pool is terrific. The neon green color is rather cool looking and the sidewalls allow an adult to rest comfortably against it without collapsing. As a cover, rather than purchasing the Intex version that costs more than the pool itself (at the time of my purchase), I simply purchased a king size fitted sheet and tie it down with small paver blocks on all four corners. This makes for an inexpensive cover and does the job while the pool sits out for a few days at a time. That said, I recommend this product to anyone who wants the enjoyment of an adult-sized relaxation pool without the trouble of pumps and filters; however, I suggest that if youngsters are using it, be careful as I suspect the material is susceptible to puncture if there is roughhousing involved.
